According to the CDCs current map of Covid deaths from January 2020 - January 2021, California is on the low end of the spectrum for Covid deaths.
I call BS on this article.

I remember reading a book in the 1980’s about a world pandemic called the “Calcutta Virus”. Wish I knew what book that was. Very similar to Andromeda Strain.

Hard for me to say one way or another. Personally 3 cousins of mine have died from Covid-19 in November from being at a funeral (open-air). Not smart!

California has more than twice as many people as New York State so the article is claiming that California will soon be half as bad as NY. Wow.
Also, deaths are on the decline in California, as they are just about everywhere. Not that the control freaks will voluntarily back down but with the pace of vaccination, this farce is almost over.
If only people had a device they could carry around with them that would allow them to photograph evidence...
