Remember that migrant caravan that started moving towards the United States southern border a few weeks ago? Well, it’s currently stuck in Guatemala, but another one has arisen and is on its way. The Biden administration does not seem to have much of a plan for it. Even worse, it appears that the president, who hammered his predecessor for his tough stance on immigration, doesn’t have many good options to choose from.
Breitbart News reported, “A large group of migrants, most likely seeking asylum in the United States, were spotted heading north via a rail route known as La Bestia. The train departed Tierra Blanca, Guanajuato, and will likely arrive at the U.S.-Mexico Border within days, according to Breitbart Texas sources.”
This means the Biden administration might soon have a problem on its hands when the group reaches the border. But this caravan will probably be the first of many. Members of the first caravan, which originated in Honduras, stated that they decided to make the trek because they believed the new president would make it easier for them to enter the country.
Biden’s team has issued a warning to those seeking to travel to the border, telling them to wait until they put policies in place. (See: Biden Official Sends Message to Migrant Caravan — It’s as Silly as You Think) Nevertheless, the migrants remain undeterred and the president will have to deal with the issue sooner rather than later.
The first option the administration will have would be to continue former President Donald Trump’s policies for the time being while they work on their own approach. This would involve detaining migrants in the same facilities they criticized under Trump.
RedState’s Nick Arama reported that the administration will be re-opening the facilities used to house the children of illegal immigrants seeking to gain entry into the U.S. The activist media, which savaged President Trump for keeping children in these buildings, has already started to alter their propaganda practices to accommodate President Biden’s hypocrisy. Instead of using the term “kids in cages,” which was one of their favorites under the Trump administration, they are saying “migrant children.” In fact, they may never reference cages again under Biden.
If the White House went in this direction, they could pretend they are working around the clock to figure out a viable solution for the migrants. But in the end, they will probably allow them to go through the same process that Trump laid out.
Another option would be to send all the migrants home because they do not have a solution prepared. Okay, you can stop laughing now. We all know this isn’t going to happen because it would anger the far-left open borders crowd.
But the last option could involve a mix between Trump’s policies and going back to the “catch and release” days of the Obama administration. It might be too soon to transition back to the “let them all in” type of policies that were the rule of thumb back in the pre-Trump days. But even though Americans may not have agreed with all of Trump’s immigration policies, they certainly supported his overall stance on immigration.
If Biden goes back to the old way of doing things, it will garner criticism from moderates and everyday Americans who don’t want the border to become an open door to whoever wishes to enter the country. It will show that he does not have any new solutions.
However, suppose the president keeps Trump’s policies in place. In that case, it will reveal him for the hypocrite he is after having called his predecessor a xenophobe and racist because of his immigration policies. It will also show that he was not serious when he pushed the “kids in cages” narrative. Even worse, he would get slammed by the progressive faction of the Democratic Party.
resident Biden seems to be in an awkward situation here. No matter what he does, people won’t like it. The activist media won’t be able to save him from the criticism coming his way. This will be one of the first examples of his ineptitude and will likely carry on in the future.
Doesn’t have a plan for it? LOL...of course he has a plan. Meet them with buses at the border, distribute them across the USA, and release them.

The media will cheer Biden no matter what. And the masses will follow suit. Americans are so darn dumb that as the pain increases, they won’t acknowledge where it’s coming from.

I think the narrative may go like this:
President Biden (perhaps the greatest president we have ever had — let’s all remember that he got more votes than either Hillary or Obama!!!) has set in place certain policies on many areas. His enormous number of Executive Orders is well known. Upon his sudden and unexpected passing in March, Kamala Harris will assume the office. Out of respect for the greatness of Joe Biden, it would be unseemly for President Harris, or Congress, to turn back the clock in any way on any of the wonderful policies that Joe Biden puts in place. We shall just carry on along the path which the great man has laid out for us. Any attempt at deviation will be punished.
Then seed Red voting districts with them and insure that they keep their end of the bargain; i.e., vote as they're told in return for the USA's largesse.
It will cause another spike in Covid. Joes solution to the Social Security shortfall is to kill off all the seniors.
