Sounds like a transfer of wealth. Well, sort of. The federal reserve is just creating the money out of thin air anyway.

But I’m sure that the tax increase to repay it will be from people earning over $50,000

Instead of paying stimulus checks how about forgiving income tax for 2021? That way small business won’t have to make quarter deposits and can use the money to rehire employees.

What a joke.

50K is barely enough to live on.

Am I reading that right? $50,000/year income? That leaves out a HUGE nunber of people in the middle who will not get help. Small business owners and middle class again.

Or from the people who happen to own legally purchased semi-automatic firearms and magazines.

You must not live in California. 10 grand might last you two months here if you live in an urban area.

That’s AGI, so you have to add in deductions above that line to get an idea of what the number would be on a W2 - gross income.

If they are still working they should not be getting any checks.

I am actually getting quite resentful of everyone getting checks.

Got a friend who has been out of work on unemployment for almost a year.

Having a good old time. He said he’ll be “screwed” when that stops in march. Doesn’t know what to do. I said how about getting a job.

His training is in a wide open field.

He’s just used to staying home now and in a rut which was real easy because the government has been paying for the rut.

Reparations based on income. Most minorities don’t make $50k per year.
