Now that the fawning over President Biden’s inaugural address is over, we can take a serious look at it. It was, in a word, awful. Probably no one expected much from the 78-year-old failing politician, so no one was disappointed. But inaugural addresses are supposed to be defining moments, which is why they should be studied, if only briefly.
Who wrote the speech? Who reviewed it? The buck stops with Biden, of course, but who—or which faction, or factions—actually crafted it? And did Biden review it? How many times? Once? Once is not enough. Once is never enough. Is there anyone on board the Biden ship who can write a good speech? We don’t know yet.

Biden’s inaugural address, for those reading between the lines, will be an accurate predictor of his time in office.
The corrupt old Biden’s Presidency will be a dogs-dinner, made by committee, of leftist political slogans, short-term PR and political initiatives, and bureaucratic demands upon him.

But the media said it was a speech for the ages. It was a unifying and uplifting speech, so they said.

Going thru all of them once was an eye-opener, but to do it three times was a real education.
Washington wrote it as a thankful sermon. He wished to convey a spirit of humility for the honor of being chosen president. Every president, with a few notable exceptions have copied his address.
It was quite evident that Woodrow Wilson, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had never read Washington's address, or if they did, Washington's address made absolutely no impression on them. None of their inaugurals contained any thankfulness or humility. Obama actually set a record for using the word "I."
So, what is the underbelly impression of Biden's speech? The whole thing sounded like it was quickly written by his new press secretary in between taking calls on her cell phone while standing at a Starbucks at lunchtime.

The author is obviously mistaken. How do I know that? It’s because Fox’s Chris Wallace said that Biden made a great speech.
Chris Wallace: “I thought this was the best inaugural address I ever heard.”
Side question to Mr. Wallace: Any idea why Fox’s ratings are dropping like a rock?

I can’t wait till his SOTU speech. I’m sure as usual, they will need to dope up The Sniffer with a litre or two of Aricept just to get through it.
Why blame the speech writer? It's entirely possible Pedo Joe went off into LaLa Land and spoke whatever was on his damaged mind.
It probably was.
Obviously the capability to write a coherent speech of any kind is WAY above Joe Biden’s pay grade.
So he farmed it out and this is what he got?

How many Presidential speeches has the author of this article written? Any critic who hasn’t accomplished at least as much as the person they are critiquing should just go pound sand.
I spent the time Biden was blabbering, reading the posts and comments here on FR.
