Ted Cruz: President Trump was “Both Reckless and Irresponsible” and Did Not Prove Election Fraud in Any Court (VIDEO)

Senator Cruz is an example of a Republican who will never win a national election and especially moving forward after the 2020 election. Democrats BRAZENLY used EVERY TRICK in their bag to steal victory in November 2020. And they did it without a hint of shame.

In this week’s video, Senator Ted Cruz accused President Donald Trump of spouting “overheated rhetoric” about the election and failing to present evidence of voter fraud.

Starting at the 16:52 mark of the January 25th, 2021 episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz states the following:

Senator Ted Cruz: “President Trump’s rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly—and he said over and over again—he won by a landslide; there was massive fraud; it was all stolen everywhere. That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, and to make a determination about an election it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that’s not responsible and you’ve never heard me use language like that. What I’ve said is voter fraud is real, and we need to examine the evidence, and look at the actual facts; and in particular, what is the evidence of how much voter fraud occurred, and did it occur in sufficient quantities and in sufficient states to alter the outcome of the election. That would have been the mandate of the election commission; to assess.”

And later around the 25-minute mark, he refers to the events of January 6th, 2021 as “a terrorist attack on the United States Capital.”

Republicans better wake up! They either act now or the GOP will be the minority party in the United States moving forward.

Rudy was doing something similar to the 2000 Bush v Gore case, involving the manner of voting & counting. NOT vote switching or fake ballots like Powell was doing. He came out and said it, more than once, I believe.

I remember the first impeachment where the arrogant Dem Senators would ask a question that goes into a lengthy diatribe of totally false statements. When it was time for the witness to answer, they would say that time was up and no response was permitted. Other times the witness would try to explain their answer to a question and the Dem would say, I only want a yes or no answer. These Dems in this second impeachment trial will have their minds made up and no alternate answer will be permitted. I hope Trump’s team will be able to breach their hold on their kangaroo court.

Senator Cruz will never get my vote. In fact, if he is ever a national candidate I will vote for his Democrat opponent. I'd rather have a Democrat attack me face-to-face than be stabbed in the back by another one of these treasonous Republicans when we need them most. Never again.

His lawyers did a very bad job in court and did not produce evidence.

No he didn’t prove it because every damn court refused to even look at the evidence.

I suspect some did look at the evidence and were so scared by the very real possibility of widespread "mostly peaceful" rioting as promised by Obamala Harris that they just swept the evidence under the proverbial rug, and played dumb, just like the three monkeys.

Thanks for this link, I watched it all the way through, I thik rgar Ted Cruz is honest, practical, and not on any kund of an avenue to bring dishonor to the man the he heloed get into office ant to get the needed programs through and installed. Ted Cruz is clearly as oppositional to all the damage that the Democrats are going to try to put into effect to nullify the advances that Cruz and his comrades pit into action.

There seem to be a lot of people on Free Republic who are as dead-set against Cruz as they were when he was running for nomination in the primaries. Furthermore, I have no doubt whatsoever that he would have been as motivated, as energetic, and far more effective than Trump was, and still be in office for four more years, mainly because he can at least control his temper and his mouth.

I am as fully behind Cruz as a conservative non-Deep-State political force as he was when I held for his nomination over four years ago. Watching trough this interview proves it.

Again, thank you for your diligence.

You are fully behind the declaration by Cruz that there was no voter fraud?
This must be Ted trolling because truly nobody else would defend him.

I think Trump expected the Supreme Court to hear at least one case. They completely ignored him. Three of them are there because Trump put them there. Now they will sit and watch as four new justices are brought in to bring the proper balance back to the highest court in the land. President Harris will get to appoint 4 justices at one time. Then Cavanaugh will see that all the disrespect he endured was for nothing at all.

"You are fully behind the declaration by Cruz that there was no voter fraud?"

Ruthles,

That is the opposite of what Cruz said. The article is fake news.

Cruz is consistently setting up a logical/legal argument that there has been no Due Process on the valid claims of election fraud. He is calling for Due Process, and we might get Due Process in the Impeachment hearings.

Here are Ted Cruz's actual words that are being misrepresented:

"What I've said is voter fraud is real, and we need to examine the evidence and look at the actual facts, and in particular, what is the evidence of how much voter fraud occurred, and did it occur in sufficient quantities and in sufficient states to alter the outcome of the election. That would have been the mandate of the election commission to assess. And you know one of the things I pointed out on the senate floor, Reuters polling shows 39 percent of Americans believe the election was rigged. That's a terrifying statistic, and I tried to make the case to Democrats. I said, look, you should want this commission because that's not good for our nation, it's not good for our country, to go forward with nearly half of the country believing that our democracy is fraudulent. We need to re-establish faith and trust in the democracy, and I think having a process to consider the evidence and the facts would have helped in that regard."

I heard him through the interview. He never said at all what you claim. He said that there IS fraud and that the insistence of the Democrats and their backers that there was no fraud shows their irrational claim ignores the reality of the election.

What you have convinced yourself to believe about what Cruz said is a lie. Read the excerpt from the interview that is cited in the article posted/ It contradicts you.

Do yourself a favor and tune into the interview and see what he did say. He spoke of the corruption in Georgia, but also said that the Republicans simply did not come out to vote in the run-off for the Senate seats there. And because they did not, the seats were lost. What do you think of that. He was there campaigning for Perdue and Loeffler, doing his best for them. The segment was 51:00 minutes into the interview.

The Interview

I suppose that many of the Republicans didn't come out because by now they were convinced that that situation would be rigged as well, so, what's the use?

No guts, no glory, madame!

Cruz would have lost to Hillary.

You mean, Trump almost lost to Hillary because many Republicans with any sense of manners wouldn't vote for him, so voted for Hilary instead or just stayed home. I think that is what you mean.

I myself was sort of that mind, but bit the bullet and voted for him anyway because I thoroughly hated Hillary, for her criminal actions that were not being penalized (and are still not due to DOJ), and all that she stood for.

Now, we've got even worse.

We'll never know, and you cannot say, that many decent fundamental Christians might have come out and put Cruz in. But if not, I'll speculate that with Hillary's known record, and a Republican=dominated Senate, she would far more easily been controlled than Harris will be now, with both the Senate and the House in hr power, once Biden goes down. And that is likely to be soon.

I guess I don't have any reason to admire your perspicacity, do I?
