Make America Grovel Again...
Music has died. Barely any tours going on.
Barely any local music going on (and what there are locally are mostly cover bands).
There have been songs about The Covid written but no significant songs of protest about the lockdowns and restrictions that have not be ordered by any legislature.
It could be said that initially there was no time to go through the legislature, things had to be done immediately. A year later still no legislation about the restrictions.
The answer is pretty obvious that both major parties want it that way.
Why do we keep thinking one is better than the other?
What fools we are.

(Solicitor Joe Rice, acting on behalf of Morrison) said his client will argue the ban in Northern Ireland is unsustainable in law and is not based on credible scientific or medical evidence...
Mr Rice has issued pre-action correspondence to Stormont’s Executive Office and the Department of Health.
The letter calls on ministers to make public the medical and scientific basis for the regulation.
If the ban is not lifted, Morrison will seek leave from the High Court in Belfast to challenge the prohibition by way of judicial review.
Commenting on the legal move, Mr Rice said: “Many people in the music and arts world in Northern Ireland have been devastated financially, socially and artistically by this complete ban...
“Sir Van is taking this action on behalf of the thousands of musicians, artists, venues and those involved in the live music industry.
“He has been supporting many artists throughout this pandemic and is determined to ensure that, as we endeavour to emerge safely from this lockdown, artists and musicians will have a proper opportunity to play their part through live music to restore the cultural, social and economic wellbeing and success of our society.”

For starters Republican Governor Mike DeWine’s Ohio is definitely not free.
But of course the radio talk show hosts don’t talk much about him and what he’s done.
Why is that?
