The Biden administration is moving forward with a plan to replace Andrew Jackson on the front of the $20 bill with an image of Harriet Tubman.
The decision to use Tubman’s likeness was initially made by the Obama administration in 2016, but had been delayed by former Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin under President Trump.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced the Treasury Department would engage in the necessary steps to place Tubman on the currency, removing Jackson from the front of the note where he has appeared since 1928.
“The Treasury Department is taking steps to resume efforts to put Harriet Tubman on the front of the new $20 notes,” Psaki stated.
“A note reflects the history and diversity of our country and the Harriet Tubman image gracing the new $20 note would certainly reflect that,” she continued.
Psaki added that the administration is “exploring ways to speed up that effort.”

Former President Trump criticized the decision to remove Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill and replace him with Harriet Tubman as “pure political correctness.”
“Andrew Jackson had a great history, and I think it’s very rough when you take somebody off the bill,” he said.

Well stop and think. Jackson hated the British since he was a child in the Revolutionary War, and foresaw their invasion of New Orleans.
He is really hated because he forced the Five Civilized Tribes from the South into what is now Oklahoma, in violation of a Supreme Court order to not move them.
Yet those tribes he moved were Slave Owning Indians and after they reached IT (Indian Territory) the slaves made a break for Mexico, were caught and hanged by the Tribes.

Frankly, I think Jackson would be happy to be finally removed from these fiat notes.
I went to the U.S. mint website to see if I can still get an uncut sheet of Jackson $20 bills. Strangely, ever single uncut item was sold out. I’ve never seen that before.

She is something all right. I can’t believe the stockpile of dem losers who keep turning up in this new administration. Aren’t they ever going to get to the end of the supply? Podesta, Holder, Lerner, Reno (tho’ she might be dead?) - too many to mention. After all, they served their country, didn’t they? Or was it just their bosses? I think it was the latter. Don’t forget Hillary. There has to be a place for her SOMEWHERE!!! HA - but I don’t think they have politics where she’s headed!

The trolls are gonna have fun with this and the democrats are going to pounce endlessly. Someone is going to write “n” (what Biden says) on the bill and mix it in with a batch. And it will be national news for weeks on end. Every white person will be called a racist nazi. Rinse and repeat.
