House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will send the article of impeachment against Donald Trump to the Senate at about 7 p.m. Monday, where a “full trial” will take place.
This, according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

The Hill indicates only a handful of Republicans seem likely to go along with a vote to convict Trump, short of what they would need for success.
They write, “Only five or six Republican senators at the most seem likely to vote for impeachment, far fewer than the number needed.”
Meanwhile, CNN is reporting that several GOP senators have expressed that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) “could face backlash if he votes to convict Trump.”
“If he does, I don’t know if he can stay as leader,” one senior GOP senator allegedly told CNN.

The Blaze has a report that he will not preside but guess who will? Pat Leahy - old mumbles himself. I think Mark Levin, Alan Dershowitz, Jonathan Turley and several others said over the weekend that they have to have a JUDGE - but a real one or just someone to preside?
If they’re not delivering THE article until tonight at 7, what was the parade a couple of weeks all about with 10-12 House members walking over to the Senate??? Not one of those were what Pelosi called “managers.”

Just let them know that we’ll be watching and our default mode will be that they’ll vote to convict. It’ll be up to them to “change my mind”. They’d better get real mouthy, and real quick, so we know the ones to kick to the curb the next election — if there is a next election, which is doubtful.
It certainly might have been, which gives lie to involved in the planning or even inciting what occurred, it was against his best interest.
I believe that the whole ‘”insurrection” charade was arranged by the demoncrats in the days before President Trump’s rally in order to disrupt the legislative proceedings and provide a “Reichstag Fire” moment for them to endlessly propagandize off of. So far I have not seen any evidence to change my belief.
McConnell and McCarthy are finished. They just aren’t smart to understand it yet.
