The United States military’s Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter is considered one of the most deadly and capable aircraft anywhere in the world today and it has been suggested it is unrivaled as well. However, at least one Russian test pilot has suggested that the F-35 would be no match for Russia’s own Sukhoi Su-57.
While both are fifth-generation, multirole fighters designed to destroy all types of air, ground, and naval targets, Magomed Tolboyev, a renowned test pilot who celebrated his 70th birthday on January 20, said that the Russian Su-57 would have the advantage were it to face an F-35 in a one-on-one dogfight.

The more relevant comparison would be between the F-22 Raptor and the SU-57.
It's the training.
The russkies are correct. fraud president xiden would order our planes to remain grounded so that Ivan could strafe them more easily.

The Indians were so impressed with the Su-57 that they cancelled their orders.

And the T-72 is better than the M1A1.
I think F-35 is not near as bad as they tell about it. Also Su-57 is rumored to be a dog but the pilots testing it say it is the best plane they ever flown.

Why do you think T-72 is worse?:) The tankers who had experience with both only like Abrams for interior space and air conditioning. In no way they’d agree to fight in Abrams.

Probably is better when compared to any Gen4 Russian fighters. Does not apply to the F-35.
I miss that sikoi-fella (I forget his full handle) that posted three times a week about how the soviet/russian/fill in the blank military was going to eat our lunch.
