Why not round it off to an even $1,000 an hour, oh heck, just make it $10,000 an hour?
Hey, for that price one does get free turds to step on whilst in the sordid, filthy streets.
I agree with San Francisco. As long as SAN FRANCISCO pays for ALL of it! Ha ha ha ha!!!
What a fantastic idea it dramatically speed up the total collapse of SFO and California in general
when wages go up, the price of services goes up, from fast food to rent to property taxes to income taxes.
Who does this hurt the most? Those on fixed incomes - the indigent and social security recipients.
America would be much better off increasing social security benefits and leaving the minimum wage a function of supply and demand.
Go for it. Couldn’t care less about wtf happens there.
wow it costs a lot to walk on human feces.
liberals are gonna demand universal basic income for everyone- whether they work or not, but only if they are liberal, antifa, or blm, conservatives will be exempt- because they will be he ones who will have to work to support the universal income for hte left
Pikers. Why not make it a million dollars an hour?
So from a fiscal point of view you should delete your stupid blog and go be a goober smoocher in San Francisco.
It's not like you have no experience.
DO IT!....................................
“’Affordable’ housing is defined by the government as that which does not cost more than 30% of a person’s income.”
That’s an outdated standard from around 1950.
One pays more for a mink coat than a cloth coat and one pays more for a BMW than a Chevy.
Glamour locales like San Francisco and parts of New York City are luxuries.
Where does the help live you might ask?
Elsewhere. Say Richmond, CA and Newark, NJ.
Rent is affordable if it can be paid by the 7th of the month.
I have experience in the matter.
Long ago, retail workers might have worked 60 hours a week.
A lower rate of pay was partially compensated for by working more hours.
London Breed ( probable, future VP or POTUS)...Maybe sarcasm and maybe not...
work 2000 hours a week?
If that passed San Francisco would empty out.
That’s the idea
“If a person works 2,000 hours per week”
That’s a bit exhausting...
