Back in 2019, it was a huge revelation that the president has to “hide” his phone calls from much of his own administration to reduce leaks. This move might seem to indicate guilt—and is certainly being spun that way by Democrats and the media—but for the knowledge that the president isn’t wrong to mistrust his own workforce.
Federal employees are anything but neutral administrators of the law. Fully 95 percent of donations from those working for agencies went to Hillary Clinton in 2016. And a web of civil service laws built over the past century effectively inures them to the consequences of defying the elected and appointed officials tasked by our political process with captaining the ship of state.
It takes up to two years to fire a federal worker, even those convicted of felonies while on the job. Four different appeal routes and a flowchart’s worth of avenues prevent most managers from even trying to rid themselves of incompetent or outright insubordinate employees.
So even if President Trump wanted to drain the swam he couldn’t.
Trump represents a real challenge to the post-war liberal order, both foreign and domestic, of the last 70 years.
When President Trump claims to be an outsider in his own administration, in a very real sense, he’s not wrong.
A leaked Zoom call has surfaced online showing a number of US Government officials discussing how to sabotage the Trump Administration. They admit doing this through leaking or withholding information.
Video below:
The facilitator is Sarah Starrett who works as an attorney for the Dept. of Labor, I think this is a conflict of interest: https://www.federalpay.org/employees/dept-of-labor-office-of-the-solicitor/starrett-sarah
This is what you do when you have no fear of getting fired. Term limits for all federal employees. After 5 years you have to leave and get a new job.
If they worked at a company, they could be sued for their actions of working inside of it to damage it. It’s called Corporate Espionage. They worked at the US Government. They should be charged and arrested for their actions of trying to damage the Government. It’s called Treason.
Funny for people who think they are so smart, they fail to realize that anything that goes over the airwaves the NSA can access, and therefore it’s on record. I mean how stupid can you be. These people think they are being noble to protect their corruption. This is mind-boggling. Treason is a serious offense.
They are liberals and Democrats. They never seem to be held accountable for their crimes. In eternity maybe, but I’d like to see a little justice on this side of eternity.
Not exactly. They opposed Trump. Nothing is a crime if you do that. Everything can be a crime if you support him.
“Not exactly. They opposed Trump. Nothing is a crime if you do that. Everything can be a crime if you support him.”
Until now.
“Federal employees are anything but neutral administrators of the law.”
Money line.
Whew. This is it? Old men and kids now. Battle’s over. Sides drawn. Counter is going to be like nothing we’ve ever seen.
“Treason is a serious offense.”
Not any more.
Rush pointed this out well over 20 years ago. You have to get rid of the staffers, the permaclass, in D.C.
A new federal employee is given a year’s probation during which they can be fired for many reasons. If a new federal employee is found to be conservative, they are almost certainly fired.
The ranks of the federal workforce swell with people in compliance with leftist ideology.
Term limits are a good idea for some segments of the federal workforce. Incentives could be added for short-term federal employment.
Insurrection against the lawful Government of the United States.
I am hearing that during the coming martial law 50%-70% of Congress is going bye bye and maybe 80% of govt. They are drawing the swamp all at one time which is the only way it can be logistically done.
Not only did he have to battle the Democrats in Congress and the bureaucrats, but also the GOP.
Questions from a skeptic who needs to be convinced-
1. How do we know that these people in the Zoom call are US Federal Employees?
2. Why would they incriminate themselves by recording this?
3. Who obtained the video and disseminated it?
The USA has not had a lawful government under the Constitution since Usurpation Day.
They should be charged for treason. Don’t care how long it takes. Charge them.
there is an old saying which is appropriate to today's political climate: Shirt Sleeves to Shirt Sleeves in three generations. The generation three removed from me (I'm 75 years of age) converted a mostly agrarian country into a powerhouse industrial and financial nation. They did not look to government to solve their problems or create a Utopian society. Rather they looked to the government to protect the nation when necessary and to follow the ideals laid out in the Constitution.
One goal they shared was a desire their children would do better than they did. Unfortunately to accommodate that desire, seemingly more and more power was ceded to the government with the Federal Government getting the lion's share. For instance, compare the enumerated powers in the Constitution to our Godzilla federal bureaucracy. Note most of that expansion happened in the last 75 years.
We have three branches of government. Perhaps on paper but over riding those three branches is a bureaucracy which has its own inertia. The federal government is entrenched within a 30 mile radius of the capitol. The cadre of fellow travelers there looks at themselves as apart and above the common folk in the hinterlands. It is like a different nation. Perhaps it should be declared a nation state similar to the Vatican. We need face the fact the states are now colonies awaiting the edits to come. If DC becomes a state, we will be lucky to have shirt sleeves left.

Until charges are filed, and convictions obtained, none of this matters. We read story after story about the insidious activities of administration staffers.
How many convictions during the past 4 years?
I’ve heard the same. Millions of people.
I believe but I could be wrong, let me know either way, but many can be furloughed while waiting for review and I would hope without pay because this would cause many of them to seek other work allowing for a permanent separation from federal government.
There’s also in my memory an option for a Reduction in Force (RIF) but I don’t know if that is still an option and whether Congress needs to approve.
