One of the reasons governments around the world want “digital money”, is precisely to end black market, and non traceable commerce.
Non trackable commerce means less knowledge about the individual, and what they are purchasing or selling.
From a macro perspective, global totalitarian governance almost could not be achieved without total financial control and near universal surveillance.
The “Surveillance State”, dynamic “cloud based currency”, and ability to manipulate/manufacture “to scale” election fraud or outcomes, plus total control of mass narrative, are all they need for total control and subjugation.
It will be slavery like no time in hand history.
Arguably, total government (royal and papacy) control was broken, and societies moved toward representative/parliamentary government models, when royal families and the papacy lost control of the narrative, because of the Gutenberg Bible and printing press in Germany, and literacy efforts.
The opposite is happening now.
The pendulum is swinging unhindered and hard, toward hard left socialist totalitarian governance, since near universal narratives are being controlled and dominated by the left.
Every lie believed equals a little bit more slavery.
The more the left takes control of education, media, and press, (the narrative), the more ignorant society becomes, and the more freedom society gives up - to the global socialist totalitarians.

We either indoctrinate with truth, reality, and principles of God derived morality and liberty, or indoctrinate with the opposite, and end up with total societal slavery.
It them becomes advantageous to fight for and defend truth bias. It is right to fight for the indoctrination of the individual, and society, to know and accept the truth, whatever it may be.
Conflict between the two will always require battle.
Back to money - Money supply is similar. Regardless of its own history of manipulation, give up the tangible in your pocket, simultaneously give an unknown location, server, and organization some level of surveillance and potential digital valuation manipulation.
Nearly all of this already takes place with the tangible, except the *Surveillance*.
External surveillance directly attacks and removes your privacy.
On this alone, go with the tangible, a d tangible commerce.
It would appear that what you are advocating is some form of natural economy based upon barter. “I will trade you 6 chickens for X” kind of thing. That appears to be the only type of transaction that could not be traced. I don’t think that paper currency or coins will be around very much longer.
