It is the retaliation the Bush-Cheney regime has craved for more than a decade.
In a blistering interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in October 2008, Donald Trump wondered aloud why then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had not impeached George W. Bush. “The [Iraq] war is a total catastrophe,” Trump said on the once-friendly network that’s been his mortal enemy since 2016. “There’s only one person you can blame and that’s our current president.”
The Manhattan real estate mogul insisted Bush should have been removed from office for lying about Saddam Hussein’s secret trove of weapons of mass destruction, the rationale for the 2003 invasion. “Bush got us into this horrible war with lies, by lying. By saying they had WMDs, by saying all sorts of things that happened not to be true.” Bush was, Trump claimed, “the worst president ever.”
Why would they go 3ed party? Don’t they own the republican party now?
You are smart. They wouldn’t go 3rd party. It’s real clear Politics getting us to raise our eyebrows just a little bit. Stuff like that works. How do you think the Democrats are so easily led?

Even Bernie Sanders understood that. He has been and continues to be an Independent Senator, but for both of his Presidential runs he ran in the Democratic party because the Dems have the infrastructure necessary for a successful presidential run.
Ask Ross Perot or John Anderson how running as a third party went for their campaigns.
The Republicans had the problem of keeping their factions together while in power. This is always a difficult thing to do. Being out of power, they will now be united. Now, it’s the Democrats’ turn to try to keep their factions together.
In the immediately past election, the Republicans came 1 point from a tie in the electoral college (and a subsequent victory in the House). That is, we would have won AZ, GA and WI with another point. This was a defeat but it was not a disaster. AND this was with the pandemic and shut-down economy. EVEN with those problems, we would have won if the Democrats had not jiggered the rules for voting, including ending the secret ballot by vote-harvesting. We obviously would have won more votes from blacks if we had a secret ballot.
We came close to winning the House and we should win the House in 2022.
We got a tie in the Senate (but unfortunately they have the tie-breaking vote).
We have 27 out of 50 Governors.
We have 31 state legislature (I’m including Alaska) and 1 split.
So, we are in a very strong positive given that we’re “the minority party.”
Trump opened up the Hispanic vote and I believe would have significantly improved our black vote if we still had a secret ballot.
Look, I’m sorry about the blacks of this country, but the Democrats have owned them from the very beginning, formerly via slavery and now via welfare. But, thankfully!, the Hispanics see through this new form of slavery and have decided that freedom is the better way to go.
Another thing that will propel the Republicans to victory is the coming disaster of inflation and recession that will result from Democratic policies.
Yes, they own it NOW.
And they swept back into power because of Trump.
But every House of Representative member must face the electorate in 2022.

That also ensured that Bernie would never be nominated, so I’m not sure what he was hoping to accomplish. The DNC rigged two primary campaigns against him, and he had no choice but to bend over and take it.

“We” told GOP voters not to vote for the GOP nominee to replace Sessions. The progressive Democrat won and Obamacare repeal failed by ONE vote.
“We” knew the FBI was lying to Congress about Spygate in 2017 but did nothing because “we” hate the MAGA Agenda and wanted POTUS hamstrung.
“We” knew Mueller had hired Obama and Hillary lawyers to assault POTUS and his supporters but did nothing because “we” hate the MAGA agenda and wanted POTUS hamstrung.
“We” knew Big Tech Democrats were interfering in the 2020 election but did nothing because “we” hate the MAGA agenda and wanted POTUS to lose.
“We” made illegal consent decrees with Democrats because “we” hate the MAGA agenda and wanted POTUS to lose.

No. They will try to purge MAGA from the GOP. The GOPe is not leaving the GOP.
There is no room for a neocon third party between the other two. Cheney wants control of the Republican Party. Other neocons have already gone over to Biden and the Democrats.
I certainly wouldn't say that Cheney already controls the Republican Party. It's not wholly a Trump party, but neither is it wholly an anti-Trump party. It won't become an anti-Trump party, but you can't expect it to become a wholly pro-Trump party either.
I imagine donations goes to people that don’t really do much. Look at Mr Schlapp/Schlapps. He’s as well groomed as any hollywood star that makes 20 million per movie or any billionaire. What does he do aside from make an occasional appearance on foxnews? I bet there’s 100 just like him that we don’t know about. You think they put all that money into fighting the good fight for us? What percentage of money donated to Trump did the gop get? 70%?
They’re not giving that up. That’s why I don’t think the party can be reformed. Sure, we could vote for a bunch of good people but there’s a whole lot of other people that actually pull the levers. They spend many millions of dollars in the primaries keeping people like McConnell and Graham. The Sclapps don’t come off as neocons but their job is PR so they stay neutral on touchy items and talk generically about how wonderful conservatives are compared to those evil dems.
It’s a club and we ain’t in it. Neither was Trump. That’s why he’s being blacklisted and people like McConnell, Graham and even Pence are ok with it because it’s their club.
