Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell supports Democrats’ move to initiate impeachment proceedings against President Trump and is “done” and “furious” with him, sources familiar told Fox News.
It is unclear how McConnell would vote in an impeachment trial, should House Democrats vote to impeach Trump. It is not clear at this point whether McConnell would vote to convict.
One source told Fox News that McConnell has not made up his mind about what to do about impeachment, and does not see this as a partisan exercise like the previous impeachment effort against Trump.

Ok, well, to give Cocaine Mitch proper credit, it should be clear that this is not a “partisan exercise” in the Democrat/Republican sense of that phrase. No, this impeachment is a UniParty event involving the Democans and Republicrats acting in concert with one another now that McConnell’s real party – the Republicrats – no longer have to work within the strictures of trying to pretend they support a GOP president.

The last four years have been an aberration for the GOP in congress, a period of time during which they have been forced by Trump’s massive support base to actually behave like Republicans most of the time and work in the interests of the people who elected them. McConnell and his fellow establishment Republicrats are now betting that, once Trump is no longer President, they can simply discard him and go back to their old swampish ways without having to worry about paying any political price for doing that come future election days.
And it’s not just McConnell: We’ve already noted that Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski, a fervent Trump hater from way back who wanted to prevent Brett Kavanaugh from sitting on the Supreme Court, is also in favor of impeaching the President, and other RINOs like Mitt Romney and Susan Collins will most certainly join in the piling on once the single impeachment article is delivered to the Senate from the House.
Over in the House, Republicrat Neo-Con Liz Cheney, who, along with her daddy is extremely angry that President Trump refused to engage our military in any new wars on his watch, announced that she will vote in favor of impeachment when the Democrats roll it out.
Cheney’s from Wyoming, one of the most conservative states in the nation. In taking this action, she ensures she will face a strong primary opponent in 2022 and will be at high risk of losing her seat in congress. But she is willing to risk that sacrifice to pay her dues to remain a member in good standing of the Swamp’s war-mongering UniParty. And she has fellow fake Republican war-mongers like John Kato of New York, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, Fred Upton of Michigan and Jaime Beutler of Washington joining in the fun with her.
None of what the Swamp/Deep State is doing to this anti-communist, anti-war President should surprise us. After all, the last anti-communist, anti-war president, Ronald Reagan, was shot and almost killed as he left the Washington Hilton in 1981. The most recent anti-communist, anti-war president before Reagan, John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in a Dealey Plaza crossfire in 1963.
But this is the 21st century and assassinations and attempted assassinations with guns have fallen out of favor, so the UniParty has spent the last four years trying everything it could think of to remove the outsider in their midst via a never-ending slow motion coup d’etat. All of those past efforts having now failed and with just a week remaining in his term, the swamp rats hope to execute an after-the-fact impeachment and removal process that will prevent Trump from running for the presidency again in 2024.
The fake Republicans supporting the effort believe you are all so shallow-minded that you will forget all about their own mendacity by the time Election Day 2022 comes around. That is truly the level of abject contempt they hold for their own voters.
It’s the same contempt they have always held for Donald Trump, who they are now killing with a death by a thousand cuts. If they can do it to him, they sure has hell can do it to all of us.

By now they probably have semi figured out something is up and Trump is gunning for them. IMO its waay too late. Whatever Trump is up to is already in motion.

It wasn’t Trump that incited the January 6th tour of the Capital by patriots, it was 4 years of democrats and their BS and the stolen election was the final straw.

If President Trump does not create a new party and destroy the GOP, he will let down all those who supported him. The GOP has shown itself to be the quislings we knew they were. Only now they have completely dropped the facade. Those House members and Senators who claim they support the President should be given one opportunity to run for re-election under the new party. If they refuse, conservative or not, they must be opposed by a Patriot Party candidate. It’s decision time for the President, his supporters, and everyone within the disgraced Republican Party.

I agree. They may think they have finally "got" Trump, but he is ahead of the curve on this one.
He's got something planned and he will spring the trap on these corrupt crooks when they least expect it. I think he has the advantage now.
This is why they are panicking, doing their best trying to get him out of office before he can expose them.
There really is no other explanation for why they want him removed from office when he only has a week left. They claim it is because he is too dangerous or that they don't want him to be able to run again. Bull pucky. These excuses are red herrings for what they are really worried about.

The Alinsky strategy of “ pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it”. Notice the GOP is only too happy to go along with the plan.
They are feeling their oats and the GOP is joining them instead of fighting them.
I am super negative about the future because at one time I expected the GOP to take the House in 2022 and restrict this nonsense.
But now, I honestly believe the GOP has abandoned their supporters, 80 million strong, and 15% likely will not vote for the GOP now, meaning they lose every close race.
Which means for the first time in my life I support a third party. A third party that can endorse quality conservatives and can run against RINOs. The ONLY way we take back the party is when RINO’s lose elections.
Now, the ONLY alternative to a third party is a massive primary effort in all 50 states to primary the Liz Cheney’s etc. But for that effort we would need national leadership and the RNC is part of the swamp.
We will remember and primary these RINOS.
And we will send MONEY to get rid of these democrat buddies.
