On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough went on an impassioned speech about yesterday's events. In the course of his broadside, Scarborough said, "He should be arrested today. He should be sent to jail today for insurrection against the United States of America."
Here are the highlights:
Called for President Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and Donald Trump, Jr. to be arrested, jailed, and charged with insurrection.
Demanded an investigation of the Capitol Hill police, suggesting some were members of a Trump "cult" who abetted the invasion of the Capitol. At one point, Scarborough accused police of opening the "f'ing doors" for the rioters, the f-word being uttered in full without bleeping.
Claimed that had the rioters been black or Muslim, they would have been "shot in the face" or "sniped" by the police.

Cops didn't shoot any of the rioters this summer. They didn't get charged with insurrection when they stormed the White House this summer either.
