75% Of Voters Say Stimulus Check Is ‘Too Little’: Poll
Daily Caller ^ | 01/04/2021 | Mary Rose Corkey

A Hill-Harris X poll found 75% of voters said the $600 stimulus checks were “too little,” the Hill reported Monday.

The poll was done from Dec. 30 until Jan. 3 and 15% said the checks were the right amount while eight percent said the amount was excessive, according to The Hill. Most from political parties were in agreement that the $600 wasn’t enough, with 77% of Democrats and independents and 71% of Republicans in agreement.

“Voters across party affiliation and income levels are of a consistent view that $600 in COVID relief is too little and a strong majority agree with President Trump and the Democrats that $2,000 is an appropriate amount and more support is needed,” Dritan Nesho, CEO and chief pollster at HarrisX, said to Hill.TV, according to The Hill.

Ha! Good. The tragic aspect of this is, those whining Americans will also re-elect those responsible for this stuff.

Personally, I think it is too much. It’s not the fedGov’s job to hand out free money.

What about the countries that received hundreds of millions of dollars in stimulus checks? Did they feel the amounts were too little?

Whining about the check does not mean that they will vote against those who gave the check.

Oh, I don’t know about that. I think 39 billion dollars to Venezuela is probably just about right.

Seems to me that the overhead expense of government taxation is too much rather than a stimulus check is too little.

In other news, people lined up for free sh*t say they want even more free sh*t.
Hey I’d take $100,000 for free instead of just $2000 too.
What a meaningless poll.

It is tax redistribution and you won’t really know how much you paid or saved until after you file for 2020

I got the stimulus direct deposit yesterday morning, and transferred the amount to the bank account my wife and I use to pay for co-pays and prescriptions. So I am using the free money from the government to pay for my free healthcare.

Of course, we did not realize how expensive health care really is until we started getting Medicare "for free" from the government.

$600 should clearly cover one’s business being closed for months.

“$600 should clearly cover one’s business being closed for months.”

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear in my post. $600 is pathetic given that the bill was $900B and most is going to foreign entities.

My intent is to point out how absolutely stupid Americans have become. They don’t like what’s going on, but they will re-elect their congress criminal.

It is the same concept as Californians fleeing the state, but retaining their voting habits. The level of stupid is beyond my comprehension.

You need to tell them that

Over a 100 years they believe they can just hand out “free” money

I don’t get any stimulus check - I make too much. But I’d still rather see my tax dollars go to fellow American citizens who are hurting because of the Democrat lockdowns than to Pakistanis and Palestinians.

A $600 check from the same elite that has destroyed the economy over a hoax. Yeah, thanks. For $2000 at least you can get a decent AR and some ammo.

Laugh if you want, but the Dems are using this in the Georgia race - “Vote for me and I’ll get you another $1400 !”

Thanks Mitch.

Waste of time, waste of money. I received $144. Not very stimulating.
Pakistanis probably received more than I did.

$900B should have been enough to give every US citizen over $2700 each. What a colossal waste.
