If you watch commercials (either from YouTube or television) you will see that thin, pretty white women are almost never depicted any more.
Invariably, the female actors are overweight, black or Hispanic. I have not yet seen overweight Asian women depicted in an ad - maybe it's just a matter of time. But I suspect that because the percentages of American women who are grossly overweight follow these statistics:
- African-American = 82% (60%+ obese)
- Hispanic = 79%
- Caucasian = 43%
- Asian = 18%

During the 80s that was my go to magazine....glamorous,elegant,smart....now it’s just plain disgusting....who buys this crap anyway......
