Magazines? Lol. People still read those? Cosmo has always been subversive trash from the usual suspects like all of feminism.

Meanwhile, obesity is a huge risk factor when it comes to covid-19. I guess no indignity is too great to suffer in the face of this pandemic ... except for losing weight. Good to know there’s a line out there, eventually.

The thing is that these women, plus-size or not, are not attractive. There are a lot of plus-sized models who are just gorgeous (Ashley Graham comes immediately to mind). This? Plus-sized wokeness, I guess, is a thing.

If our leaders cared about the wellness of Americans during this pandemic, they would have informed us of the relative frequency of the various risk factors and comorbidities for having a bad outcome from a positive coronavirus test. Then if people wanted to, they could do something about a risk factors such as obesity. Instead the CDC and politicians have been very secretive about which are the risk factors that lead to dire consequences.

If we knew the true frequency of each risk factor, we would be much better able to have each person make an informed decision based on real evidence. Instead most government officials want people to be afraid to the point where we now have the fear candidate seemingly ready for the White House.

A person’s heart and other organs and their joints are not designed to sustain the equivalent of two or three people instead of one. Furthermore, and not that Cosmos would care, the Bible says that gluttony and sloth are deadly sins. So argue with the medical community AND the Bible about the healthiness or wisdom of obesity (not talking about the small percentage of people who truly can’t stay at a normal weight for reasons outside their control).

Aren’t the obese more susceptible to an adverse outcome as far as Covid? So Cosmo wants more women to die?

From the article

>>The COVID-NET report, published by the CDC in April, also found that of the patients who’d contracted coronavirus, 9 out of 10 of them had an underlying health condition. Of those patients, 48.3% were obese.

What they don’t tell you is that 42.4% of ALL adults are obese.
