President Trump is head of the Republican party, why shouldn’t he want more votes? It’s his job to recruit for the party, unless you want another do nothing Paul Ryan who works for Paul Ryan.
This is why Coulter so beautifully said Trump's supporters take him seriously, not literally. It's why he's been absolutely right to call "fake news the enemy of the people" (a quote they can't get accurate along with the Charlottesville response).
We just saw most of a year of him being called a crazy liar saying "vaccine by end of the year" and now he's being attacked because Warp Speed is "too slow."
