I would imagine that is very close to what flue results in, for healthy people.

It's not just a question of surviving. Some folks who get the virus and survive have little or no symptoms. But many other folks who survive have serious and lasting health problems - neurological issues, lung and cardiac issues, kidney damage, etc. Some people get sick and recover completely, many other people get very sick and don't.

The numbers are what they are. No amount of sticking your head in the sand changes them, and pretending the deaths aren’t happening only lets people like Cuomo and Newsom off the hook for their role in the many unnecessary deaths.

There’s no reason to panic around these numbers, particularly since we have multiple safe and effective vaccines available now. There’s plenty of reason to hold the people accountable who have contributed to these high death numbers, like any governor who forced nursing homes to accept known infected patients. They should be under criminal indictment for tens of thousands of criminally negligent homicide.

Or we can all sit around debating whether it’s 355,000 deaths or 348,000 deaths or whatever made-up number you want to use. The excess mortality figures demonstrate we’re at about 400,000 excess deaths since this began. Every single week since March 2020 has had excess deaths. And every cause of death is at or above normal levels of mortality.

These are people who should be alive right now and a lot of them are only dead because of the failures of Cuomo, Newsom, and others in state and local governments.

That might be the case somewhere, but your problem is: this is Earth.

 

All other causes of death at or above normal levels for 2020. Yet we have excess deaths.

About 400,000 since the start.

Every single week since March.

Major change from previous years.

In all parts of the country.

Choosing to live in Fantasyland isn't helping anyone. But the vaccines are. Why do we need the vaccines? Because the disease isn't "mild", as the doctors who post on FR can attest first-hand, and we need to return the country to normal. The vaccines are how we get back to normal.

Time to face reality.

I understand your position and in general I agree with your post. Those who are attacking the vaccine are denying the seriousness of the virus. Me and Mine will get the vaccine as soon as we can. If for no other reason than to undermine the case for masks, lockdowns, etc.

Are there figures on how many do? Especizlly formerly hea.thy folks? The vaccine will also help protect that from happening by preventing the cytokin storms associated with more severe cases, which is what I think causes the organ damages?

Flu also causes lasting issues in some folks. Would be interesting g to see the numbers compared

Many have talked openly about the why, but people don’t listen or they write it off as a conspiracy. When many elites keep saying the world population is too high, people should listen. They don’t have our interests in their minds at all. Only God knows what’s best for us.

I really do have better things to do than run around looking for evidence for people. Most don’t care, or will just write it off as hearsay if it goes against their world views. Myself, I believe in God’s word and I believe when God says a world government is coming and people will require a mark to essentially live, well I pay attention.

The new "vaccines" are engineered coronavirus fragments which can infect human cells, but cannot correctly reproduce themselves. They are counter-viruses.

The next generation after the initial infection is missing the binding sites to allow that generation to infect new cells. It should disintegrate after a few weeks to a few months in the body. The spike proteins from the "mules" look just like the ones from the real virus and should provoke long-term immune responses to the real virus.

Quite a different approach than what a conventional vaccine does. A lot of "should" in there.

What could possibly go wrong? Well, we will find out over the next year.

My best guess is that the COVID-21 version will be mutated enough to evade the immunity response to the COVID-19 "vaccine". This will turn out to be like the seasonal flu virus, which requires a new vaccine every year and is only about 20%-30% effective.

My worst guess is that an "unexpected" combination of factors will turn the vaccinated patients into rabid mutant Zombies and we will be looking at a "World-War-Z" scenario. (I know; maybe I should stop reading all those science fiction novels.)

I think I will wait until we see the results from the first million volunteers before I sign up.

So you I assume would have been opposed to the Polio vaccine? Or the Smallpox vaccine? Do you wear sunscreen if you’re out in the sun? Do you get regular dental care? God helps he who helps himself.

My personal experience has been all over the place. I’ve seen younger people in 20s have what seems like a bad flu for a few days and that’s it ... and one young person who hardly had any symptoms. A few in 40s, 50s or 60s were in ICU. I know at least one person who almost died from it and another who took a month to recover. These were healthy fit people with few if any known preexisting conditions although I may have not been privy to their full health situation.

I don’t panic or scoff when it comes to covid-19. Everyone has their opinions on it and must decide for themselves how to deal with it.

It’s not a one-size-fits-all disease. Government seems almost incapable of dealing with a disease that really requires profiling and different approaches for different groups of people. Ah ... profiling. :-)

I have relatives who have had it and hardly known it.

My technically extremely high risk brother had it and weathered it in a few days and is just fine.

People never freaked out about seasonal flus like they have for this thing.

We’ve weathered far deadlier things and the human race is still here.
