A federal appeals court in Manhattan struck down New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s lockdown orders against houses of worship, stating it “discriminates against religion on its face.”
A three-judge panel on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit sided unanimously Monday with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, the Orthodox Jewish group Agudath Israel of America, and two synagogues, in their lawsuit against Cuomo.
At issue was the number of people that could attend religious gatherings. The religious houses argued that Cuomo had unfairly targeted them with arbitrary rules while other businesses deemed essential could remain open and without restriction.
“The restrictions challenged here specially and disproportionately burden religious exercise,” wrote Circuit Judge Michael Park, an appointee of President Trump.
“We conclude that [Cuomo’s] Order discriminates against religion on its face.”

Regarding states that are run by desperate Democrats who like to boss citizens around, especially in an “Orange Man Bad” election year pandemic, patriots need to work with their respective state lawmakers to amend their state constitutions as follows.
State health officials need to be elected by popular vote. And time-limited by law lockdowns ordered by governors, mayors and health officials need to automatically trigger recall elections.
And speaking of recall elections, state constitutions also need to be amended to require candidates for public office to first escrow a refundable “recall deposit,” amounts determined by law, to pay for their own recall elections.

Cuomo is no longer bound by the Constitution as he has seceded from the USA and made himself “king”. The mass murdering, godless, communist SOB should be in a prison cell awaiting an execution date for we he deliberately did to those poor, innocent elderly in those nursing homes.
