Recently, a series of special health alerts and reports have come out warning of growing numbers of people and a country at the breaking point. Sadly, little of that information has reached the public.
American people are crying out for help and dying − not from a virus with an “infection fatality rate” of 0.15-0.2% across all age groups, and 0.03 to 0.04% in those under 70 years old. (This means, 99.96% of nearly everyone who gets the virus lives.) No, the desperation and distress are in response to the government’s unprecedented mandates and lockdowns.
Masking, isolation, business closures, shuttered churches, ended normal school classes, seniors confined secluded in nursing homes, people left to die alone in hospitals, sporting events ended, music silenced, jobs and livelihoods destroyed. American life has been cancelled – from Easter to Memorial Day, 4th of July to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now New Year’s..
Many people have lost everything and now face losing their country. The level of despair is palpable. Growing numbers have lost the ability to cope.
What would happen as a result of these unprecedented government mandates was well known. They cannot say they didn’t know or that it wasn’t anticipated....

I don't have it bad. I still have a job. I've been working at home since this started, which has its plusses and minuses. I live in a state where a lot of restaurants are functioning more or less normally.
I really don't know about gyms, movie theatres, bowling alleys, etc. I just haven't looked into them.
Churches vary according to the risk the church wants to take on.
Some people are still getting together with friends, depending on personal preference.
But I've lost complete faith in most people and do not want to engage with co-workers any more than I must, and I did like some of them.
The three most important people in my life are pretty much on the same page as me when comes to the politics of this.
I don't know how a guy who lost his job and is married to a Karen but is not a male Karen can deal with this situation.
I cope fairly well since I’ve gotten to the point I avoid people as much as possible.
After a week of the techno-incompetent, spoiled, lazy, inept, and the nice well-meaning people, I’ve had enough of people.
Lots of alcohol, probably.
There are worse examples. My brother is married to a MSLSD acolyte. (She tapes the frigging shows, FGS). She lives in her own world and refuses all others.
He has become considerably more right wing as a result. Not as bad as me, but there is hope.
And yet those demanding the lockdowns, i.e. governors, mayors and other unelected parasites are still getting paychecks and full benefits.
The American people sat silent and now we are paying for it.
Today I picked up the 12.9 inches Liquid Retina display iPad Pro 2020 that I bought with US stimulus money.
I thank God Almighty for giving my wife and me the wisdom to sell our home in California and move to Florida more than 10 years ago. Our family told us we were overreacting at the time. They do not say this today. They asked us, how did you know? I simply said because we paid attention.
I am using my stim money to help with a down payment to move out of California in April.
Seriously? All of "America" is "despairing?" Well, all of the Democrat/RINO politicians across the nation sure seem enthusiastically Gung-Ho! There's literally no let-up in Democrats'/RINOs' relentless pursuit of Marxism/Communism. So I have to disagree somewhat with the title of that article by saying, Not all of America is "despairing" -- and certainly not all of the Democrat/RINO politicians who seem absolutely invigorated by the 2020 Presidential election-fraud year.
The Nashville government dealt with reducing exposure for city employees by allowing one half to work from 8-12 and the other half to work from 12-4:30, And keep their full paychecks. So half the people are doing the same work as a full staff. That tells me that there are at least twice as many employees as they need.
I’ve noticed that store parking lots have become VERY popular “social” areas. Outside so no danger, people stay an extra foot or so away from each other but that’s no issue.
Spent an extra half hour getting out of the Dollar General parking lot today between my desire for company and others’!
Was pretty nice. The virus, and the forced ‘precautions’, make for a great conversation-starter.
Now I gotta find out if that girl I was talking to is married...)
I’m retired so economically it hasn’t mattered to me. Don’t know how working people and their children survive the closures.
We’re getting like Euro economies where everyone survives by living off ‘pensioners’.?
I surf the Net, read books, take walks outside, play with my cat,
Am FURIOUS, though, about the unconstitutional lockdowns. Governors do NOT have a right to do that. And I miss my gym very very very much. Closing gyms is the stupidest possible move our moron of a governor made, as exercise is very healthy, keeps your blood pressure low and your weight down.
The objective is to break the will of the enemy. Patriotic Americas are their enemy. It’s time to crack skulls and “f” these commies into oblivion. Let’s go. ❤️👍🇺🇸
At this point your leaving a dog in a corner. At some point people will say screw you. It’s already happening but these people that had been beaten or tricked into staying at home in these states are gonna eventually say no thanks.
Politicians Officially Exempted From Lockdown Rules Since Lizard People Can't Catch COVID!
SAN FRANCISCO, CA—After stoking outrage by visiting a salon for a hair treatment during a lockdown, Nancy Pelosi has assured the public she is exempt from lockdown rules since her particular species of lizard-person cannot catch or spread the coronavirus.
"There isssssss, I mean is, no risk posed by me or any other member of congress getting our hair done during a pandemic," said Pelosi hissing in a statement. "That's because we're just different than you. I can't explain exactly how; we just are. We can't even catch COVID. It's a niccccccceeee, um, I mean nice privilege we enjoy," she said with a casual flick of her tongue.

Nice article.
Looks like it may take up to 10 years until we see the full effect of non-COVID-19 deaths due to the lockdowns.

Among other things this sustained lockdown is separating the vulnerable out.
I say this as someone who has been weaker in the past but by the grace of God am feeling fairly strong right now.
The paranoid, the addicted, the abused, the traumatized, those with chronic health problems, the depressed, those surrounded by the same...very tough times. I am grateful I don’t have small children dependent upon me at present. I’d be very stressed I’m afraid.
Jesus Christ is a solution to despair!
And perhaps some knowledge of history and one’s place in it.
