With the liberal media apparently feeling confident that President Trump will be leaving office, they seem to be acknowledging inconvenient truths about the president that they have kept buried for the last four years.
Take CNN host Fareed Zakaria, on this morning's New Day. Discussing how foreign policy might be different under a Biden administration, Zakaria began with platitudes about other countries being hopeful that the US would get "back in the game" and "help organize cooperative solutions around the world, get engaged with problem solving," on "climate change" and other issues.
But then Zakaria dropped a bombshell. Asked how things would be different with Russia, he said:
"I think in general, there isn’t going to be as much difference as people imagine. The Biden folks are pretty tough on Russia, Iran, North Korea. You know, the dirty little secret about the Trump administration was that while Donald Trump had clearly had a kind of soft spot for Putin, the Trump Administration was pretty tough on the Russians. They armed Ukraine, they armed the Poles. They extended NATO operations and exercises in ways that even the Obama Administration had not done.

It was a “dirty little secret” that Trump was tough on Russia? WHY?? Who kept it a secret and for what purpose??
I think we can guess the answer: admitting it would have undermined the MSM/Democrat “Russia Russia Russia” attack on Pres. Trump.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Might be the same Fareed Zakaria that said there was 100% no election fraud.
That’s 100% not credible, GPS.
It wasn’t a secret from conservatives. Only morons that get their news from CNN.

I expect my Russian stockholdings to do much better under Biden. He will probably loosen the restrictions imposed under Trump. The thing with Trump is that he was very conciliatory in words with Putin, but he really crapped all over Russia. There’s just no way, for instance, that either Biden or Obama would have authorized airstrikes on Russian mercs advancing on (while firing artillery rounds at) US troops in Syria. In fact, I’m not sure any president since 1945 would have. Trump is sui generis - one of a kind. Any other president would have instructed US troops to back off.
The bastards lied.
[”Biden folks are pretty tough on Russia, Iran, North Korea.”
Hmm... Isn’t an important adversary missing from this list? Could it be CHYNA? ]
And just like that, the “Russia threat” magincally vanishes.
Dirty little secret: Hollywood is remaking “The Incredible Mr. Limpet,” starring Fareed Rafiq Zakaria as Mr. Limpet.
I said all along if Trump leaves, suddenly you’ll start hearing the Press saying things like “Maybe we were a bit too hard on Trump”, and start walking back the things they said about him.
They sure did the same with Reagan and Bush, of course only once they were no longer a threat.
It’s only a secret because you so called “journals” refused to report it.
And Biden will Bend Over for China.
dirty little secret = we suppressed this info from the general public for political reasons.
CNN and MSNBC have the UGLIEST people on TV!
Discussing how foreign policy might be different under a Biden administration.
Cash causes white flag to spring up every time.
“And Biden will Bend Over for China”
Just checked, and the School Marm says: incorrect use of the future tense.
Dirty BIG Secret... Biden bought and paid for by China... and the media covered it up... to provide aide and comfort to an enemy of the United States, by altering the outcome of an election.
It’s always huge news when CNN reports the truth. Huge.
Trump killed 200 Russian mercenaries in the middle of the Syria desert and dared Putin to say anything about it.
