Like most everything in Kalifornia - the state govt has created another clusterfark.

Peer reviewed paper titled “COVID-19: Rethinking the Lockdown Groupthink.” Canadian scientist Dr. Ari Joffe documents that the collateral effects of lockdowns have caused 10 times more harm than good. Many of these effects have been out there, but submerged in a ‘saving lives vs economy’ argument. Now it is documented that more lives have been harmed than ‘saved’ by the lockdowns.

Economy -
Biden is considering cancelling the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. Such a move would bring a significant lawsuit as well as create tension with Canada. Canceling the project would impact thousands of jobs.

2020 Election-
DNI Ratcliffe released the LATE report documenting that China interfered with the 2020 election and that CIA management pressured analysts not to report it. Unaccountable deep state actors.

CW2/Domestic violence -
With about 30,000 NG troops in DC, the FBI is scrambling to vet those troops after fear that there may be an insider attack during the inauguration. Leaders stated they have seen no evidence of any threats, and officials said the vetting hadn’t flagged any issues that they were aware of.
MY OBSERVATION - It is incredible how the wet is wetting their pants over the inauguration security. Anyone looking at the security measures in place and the massive “green zone” created would expect that a huge force is enroute to capture the city. All this for a VIRTUAL ceremony! When BLM/Antifa was busy burning down the city and attempting to storm the WH last year, DC rejected a few hundred NG troops and sat back. BTW NOT A SINGLE RIOTER ARRESTED THEN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ANYTHING. My thoughts this is a leftist attempt at muscle flexing, failing to realize that they really don’t have control over the NG (and rest of the military) rank and file the thought they had.

Most other state capitols have been closed or have heightened security measures in place. Small groups of armed protestors have shown up at various capitols, like in Ohio, but for now have posed no serious threat.

There are rumors that cell service and hand held radio comms are being interfered with in DC, including police comms. In a related warning, the FCC issued a statement saying that encrypted/coded messages are illegal in civilian and ham frequencies.
MY OBSERVATION - I suspect that the interference is in part directed by the government, though interference with the police may be some groups efforts. Police comms in DC are likely to be trunked and encrypted, broadcast in the 900 mega htz range. Without decryption equipment you can’t hear what is being said, however, you can know that things are being broadcast - so one could jam in the blind to disrupt. Its what i expected when the Vinson system was deployed to us back in the 1980’s.

CYBER/CANCEL CULTURE FRONT -
Parler is in the process of coming back on line, now being hosted by Epik. CEO Matze made an initial post yesterday, but the site is still in reconstruction mode. Matze has also gone underground due to numerous threats to his and family’s lives. However, don’t expect the app to show up in the Apple or Google store any time soon.

Pro-life organizations are bracing for the next round of cyber closures of their access to the internet. Groups are looking at switching to favorable servers and email services to preempt shutdown like have impacted other conservative groups on social media and Parler.

In a harbinger of things to come for the FUSA, France will include information about the faith and political opinions in the police files of people who could be a threat to national security. Views expressed on social media will also be collected, the government confirmed. Democrat leaders have openly said they will be going after “Christian nationalists” and other faith based groups in the coming years, as they were a key voting block for Trump.

Following documenting six constitutional violations by the House from the recent impeachment, Alan Dershowitz has again gone on record saying that the Senate does not have the jurisdiction to place a ‘citizen’ Trump on trial. Rumors have been floating that Sen McConnell is drifting towards allowing such a trial. Democrat senators would have little concerns about the constitutionality of a trial, given their track record. Their only goal would be the attempt to force Trump out of future political options - particularly a run in 2024.

Strategic Developments /Deployments -
The US flew 2 B52 bombers to the Persian Gulf yesterday (Jan 17th) in a show of force 2 days after Iran carried out a large ballistic missile and drone exercise.

Israel -
A lightning strike overnight reportedly caused two rockets to misfire in Gaza. Both rockets launched into the Mediterranean. No Israeli warning alerts were issued. IAF did strike an underground facility after a couple other rockets were launched towards Israel.

Iran -
Yesterday’s ongoing missile/drone exercise featured the simultaneous launch of 6 medium range missiles from one of Irans missile test ranges. Observers noted that as many as four of the rockets were their newer, solid fuel versions.

The anger is so strong in Alberta that it wouldn’t surprise me if Alberta sends an assassination team to Biden’s inauguration, the anger is that palpable.

If Biden wants hatred form Canada, this will do it for him.

It will cause Canada’s fuel prices to go up so high that Canadians won’t be able to drive very far at all, increasing the hated pandemic “lockdown” when Caadians must be limted to their automobiles . The anger is therefore all across Canada. Not just Alberta. Canada is in the worst of the pandemic, And Canadians do not like to be kicked when they are down.

This will be regarded as an Act of War by many Canadians if Geriatric Joe goes through with it. Indeed it is an Act of War, to violate a strategic international agreement unilaterally.

That’s the way this is truly seen in Canada. Trudeau will not be able to soft peddle this to Canadians for Biden.The entire country is royally pissed at him already.

States where the variant has been detected - Florida, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Indiana, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Texas, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Incoming President Joe Biden’s pick for Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services came under fire in her home state of Pennsylvania for routinely sending COVID-positive patients back to nursing homes, where they spread the illness. Dr. Rachel Levine, a gender-nonconforming male who identifies as transgender and uses female pronouns, defended her policy of sending elderly patients back to their nursing homes after receiving treatment. He/she pulled her/his own mother out of a nursing home prior to the implementation of the policies.

FWIW - CBS is reporting that “Q Anon” supporters have been talking about posing as NG members to get close to the inauguration. There is no specific “plot” but just talk. NOTE - FBI has reportedly screened all NG members deployed to DC - with no evidence of an internal coup attempt.

A fire in a homeless encampment caused the capitol Green Zone to go into lock down. Evidence that the left is wetting itself in paranoia over perceived threats for tomorrow’s coronation of biden.

Scattered armed protests have occurred at various state capital buildings, no incidents and low turn out.

The only outside source I’ve put any credit with, Michael Yon is saying that he places a “90% chance that before 2021 closes out, United States will be in obvious civil war. I say this because I am working hard to be wrong.”

A lot of noise and confusion over explosions overnight. Initial rumors were a US airstrike. Now that the sun is up, it is apparent that ISIS related elements blew up a high voltage power line near Bagdad being the source of the explosions.

There has been a period of relative calm in Idlib province. Turkish and Pro assad forces have used this period to reinforce positions in the southern most portions of the Province.

Wuhan Virus -
Deaths ASSOCIATED with the wuhan virus have exceeded 400,000. Remember, this number counts deaths by other preexisting conditions IF the virus was also detected.

Another mutant strain of the COVID-19 virus has been detected in Los Angeles. Known as L452R, the newly announced mutation is likely vaccine-resistant.
According to a report by Deadline, two days after the Los Angeles Public Health Department announced that the much-talked-about United Kingdom variant of COVID-19, known as B.1.1.7, had been identified in the region, the California Department of Public Health revealed that another lesser-known strain had been circulating in the county as well. “This variant carries three mutations, including L452R, in the spike protein, which the virus uses to attach to and enter cells, and is the target of the two vaccines that are currently available in the United States,” said Dr. Charles Chiu. A spike protein mutation could, then, interfere with the vaccine’s efficacy.

They look to the next four weeks or so to maximize their influence as the country tries to transition to the biden regime.

Citizens in Florida are camping out in front of sporting goods stores in an effort to procure ammunition before any biden anti 2A measures hit the street as well as with concerns over potential political violence.

Thousands of people are calling for the evangelist Franklin Graham to be fired for supporting Donald Trump after armed rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol in the president’s name. As of Tuesday afternoon, more than 17,000 people have signed a petition by the Christian community Faithful America that pushes for Graham’s removal from Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. The petition, created Jan. 15, is addressed to the board of directors at both organizations. “Faithful America” is a leftist, social justice based organization who constantly lobbies for LGBT eieio causes. MY OBSERVATION - Ummmm, I’m not sure what bible or space time continuum they exist in where Jesus taught these ‘values’.

Joining calls from CNN, MSNBC on Monday afternoon, host Katy Tur and former Bush strategist Mark McKinnon boldly proclaimed the need to “leach the poison” from the conservative media, from Fox to OAN to Newsmax to talk radio.

POLITICAL FRONT -
Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) urged the IRS to investigate and disqualify any tax-exempt groups involved in the Capitol protest. Wyden points out regulations that 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 groups can be disqualified for engaging in or encouraging illegal acts, which includes “incitement of violence and terrorism.”
Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) introduced the “Insurrection Financing Transparency Act,” a bill which would require companies to identify their beneficial owners if the company came under investigation into the Capitol protest.

In some of his last actions as President, Trump pardoned/commuted sentences for over 140 individuals. Leftist heads exploding.

It is reported that over half of the house republicans support removal of Rep Cheney (R-WY) from her Conference Chair. This is more than necessary and since the vote is by secret ballot, there is a strong potential that she will be removed. Earlier, she was censored by an unanimous vote of the Wyoming Republican Central committee of Carbon County WY. House minority leader McCarthy has said publicly that he doesn’t want to see her ousted, but this places his authority on the line almost as much as hers is, so he may maneuver to a ‘softer’ rebuke.

Christopher Steele admitted to the FBI that he leaked the Russia collusion story during the height of the 2016 election to help Hillary Clinton overcome her lingering email scandal and because he believed Donald Trump’s election would be bad for U.S. relations with his home country of Britain, according to documents declassified by the president in his final full day in office. Still no charges or arrests.

Guatemala has been forcefully turning back new immigrant caravans trying to reach the US after biden announced open borders and almost guaranteed citizenship. Wuhan Virus -
Biden signed an executive order for mandatory mask wear on federal facilities (he then was observed on several instances violating that order). He also fired the nation’s first black Surgeon General. He also ordered the U.S. rejoin the World Health Organization, from which Trump withdrew due to its wuhan virus response (or lack thereof). In coincidental timing, the World Health Organization also released new guidelines ratcheting up the diagnostic criteria for COVID-19. These guidelines tighten up rules for determining new positive results. Basically PCR positive is no longer = Covid. You are not Covid now unless you get a second test to confirm it, and are presenting clinical symptoms. Under current reporting, any positive is reported as a positive case - and doesn’t get removed if follow-on tests show it to be a false positive. Basically, inflating the numbers.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky said in her first official statement as Biden’s director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “We must also confront the longstanding public health challenges of social and racial injustice and inequity that have demanded action for far too long.”. Who knew wuhan was racist.

Economy -
Biden revoked the Key stone pipeline permit. This endangers billions of dollars of infrastructure as well as ten of thousands of jobs being lost. Heck of a start out of the gate. Canada has threatened legal action as well as the consortium involved in the construction.

Airlines are looking to struggle to 2023 when the skys should be smother sailing. For example, United Airlines warned investors another difficult winter is ahead with revenues set to fall as much as 70% from 2019 levels.

Election 2020 -

Antifa rioted at the Portland HQ for the democrat party. Numerous surrounding businesses were vandalized. They carried a banner saying they wanted revenge, not biden. They also burned American flags and spray-painted graffiti onto storefronts in Denver and Seattle, marched in Columbus, Ohio, and wielded shields and clubs while protesting in Sacramento. Many other cities had smaller protests. Democrats opened the bottle and now it appears they cannot put the genie back into it.

Democrats have, since at least the Vietnam War, held the military in distain. Congress slime representatives continued to make that clear, (like Rep Cohen) even though they had nearly 30,000 NG troops “protecting” the enthronement of biden. Follow-on from yesterday, it appears that the NG deliberately turned their backs to the faux president in the same way that NYC police did to mayor de Blasio. No doubt that the NG deployment was a warning to America that the left is willing to use the military it despises for its own purposes. However, the loyalty of the NG (and the rest of the rank and file military - not the perfumed princes in the pentagon) is towards the constitution - and that’s a good thing and warning to the demoncrats.

Prior to kicking it off its servers, Parler claims that Amazon deliberately left a security hole open, giving hackers the ability to target the social media platform’s inner workings. Parler said in a court filing on Monday that Amazon deliberately left open Amazon Route 53, a Domain Name System web service, which invited hackers, according to a report by Washington Times.

North Korea -
In a wrap up of the Eighth Congress of the Workers Party, it is apparent that NK is looking at a major expansion of its nuclear capabilities. It is planning on updates and improvements including longer-range missiles, hypersonic missiles, and smaller, tactical nuclear warheads to supplement the larger weapons which provide the bulk on North Korean deterrence against the United States and other foreign opponents. Now with to them appears to be a much weaker president, Kim is pushing forward again.

Israel -
Biden changed the Twitter listing of the U. S. Ambassador to Israel to “U. S. Ambassador to Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza.” It didn’t go over well:
Israel threatened to expel the US Ambassador if President Biden didn’t change the name of the Israeli ambassador back. The State Dept changed it back shortly thereafter.

Iraq -
28 killed and 73 wounded in the double suicide vest/bomb attack in Tayaran Square, Baghdad. This is the first suicide bombing in #Baghdad since January 2018, that attack killed 27, it was also at Tayaran Square. The second bomb went off as rescuers were attempting to help wounded from the first bomb. No word on who was behind the attack, though initial word is that ISIS is the leading candidate. Iraqi joint operations command reported it pursued another suicide bomber who blew himself up rather than be captured after the Tayaran Sq. attack. The Iraqi Prime Minister is meeting with of leaders of the security and intelligence services in an emergency session at the Baghdad Operations Command headquarters

2020 was a “personal financial disaster” for 55 percent of all Americans, approximately 12 million U.S. renters are “at least $5,850 behind in rent and utilities payments”, the Aspen Institute is projecting that up to 40 million people could be facing eviction when the rent and mortgage moratoriums finally end, and more than 70 million new claims for unemployment benefits have been filed since the COVID pandemic began.
According to STR, Inc, a hotel industry market data firm, 2020 was absolutely the worst year on record for hotels as industrywide profits fell to zero. STR’s latest report said the US hotel occupancy rate was 44% for the year, down from 66% in 2019.

Nearly 3 million Americans stopped receiving unemployment benefits through two temporary programs the week after Christmas. The U.S. economy shed 140,000 jobs last month, the first drop since millions fell off payrolls in April. Roughly 1.2 million people filed a new application for state jobless benefits two weeks ago, a level above the peak of the Great Recession. In December 2020 Congress FINALLY passed a stimulus bill of 900 Billion. Biden is proposing to more than double that amount in his plan.

The biden stimulus is taking heat from the left - especially Georgia - where in the senatorial campaign the democrats say they were promised $2000 checks - not $1400. In congress, there is leftist maneuvering to have $2000 paid every month for ‘minimum income’, this will primarily go to the racial underclasses they’ve created.

Pending congressional action, biden pushed his $15/hr min wage onto federal employment and contractors via EO. Congress will be hard pressed to make this a nation wide mandate - nearly doubling the current national minimum wage.

CW2/Domestic violence -
Probably in push back to the resumed protests now against biden et al. Twitter has suspended several popular Antifa accounts with more than 71,000 followers combined following Inauguration Day riots. BLM/Antifa went after democrat party offices as well as announcing that their protest won’t end until even biden and the current government has been ovethrown.
MY OBSERVATION - I think that the democrats in their bubble thought that they had BLM/Antifa on a leash. These riots, though not massive in numbers as last summer, are still a troubling reminder that the genie is not going to go willingly back into the bottle. Over the past months, they have been deeply organizing, first against a Trump second term and now taking that planning over to a biden regime. Trump was a push button to ignite big protests, so these leftist insurgents will need something else to motivate the masses. No doubt biden’s policies will be found to be corrupt and not far enough to the left, maintaining the riots. If/when the biden economic depression hit, even more disaffected leftists will likely grow the BLM/Antifa ranks.

Congressional democrats are now pushing the FBI to investigate Parler for posts that they claim instigated the Jan 6th breach of the capitol. True to form, they are weaponizing govt to attack their opponents.

MY QUESTION - Where is the chain of command for the troops? There appears to be no central command that this stuff has to go through. Making it worse, why are they sleeping on the floors of government buildings to begin with? If there is a command group - they should be fired immediately and replaced with competent leaders that will tell these bureaucratic punks to fornicate themselves for actions like this.

biden’s press secretary refused to condemn the continued BLM/Antifa violence in Seattle and Portland. After a word salad non-answer, she moved to the next question. The Trump administration repeatedly made clear that they condemned the violence caused by BLM and antifa rioters.

Downtown Seattle business owners have had all they can take from their local government’s inexplicable failure to condemn the riots and get them under control. The last straw was the night of the inauguration, when dozens of storefronts were vandalized by rampaging antifa members—and not a peep was heard from city leaders. BLM/Antifa have effectively neutered the uberprogressive leadership of Seattle (as if that isn’t part of the definition to begin with) and have even protested at their homes.

POLITICAL FRONT -
Pelosi is expected to forward the bill of impeachment to the senate on Monday. Schumer announced that the unconstitutional ‘trial’ of President Trump will begin Feb 8th, with preparations coming over next week. Grass roots pressure seems to be reducing republican senator’s taste to support the indictment.

Strategic Developments /Deployments -
Several hundred troops were redeployed from Iraq back into eastern Syria, reversing a Trump ordered pull out.

In response to increased Russian military in the Arctic, the US is looking at multidisciplinary force projections. Russian forces have long projected power and continue to build out the world’s largest icebreaker fleet and have been building air bases and sea ports to house weapons and other operational capabilities. The Arctic is being considered to be the first line of defense of the US homeland by US Northern Command.

The National Guard Bureau is working on a plan to call for thousands of volunteers from the 25,600 Guard members in Washington, D.C., to remain on duty in the city until as late as mid-March. Guard officials announced Thursday that approximately 15,000 Air and Army National Guard troops would begin returning to their home states as early as this weekend. (NOTE: many were ordered back by their governors even sooner). The apparent purpose is to have a military presence in the city through the end of the kangaroo court impeachment proceedings by the Senate. It is said that the extension is “voluntary”.

China -
China’s passed a controversial law that gives the coast guard more freedom to fire on foreign vessels, a move that could fuel the risk of military miscalculation in the Western Pacific. This order includes ALL claimed sea - including those under dispute. China has maritime sovereignty disputes with Japan in the East China Sea and with several Southeast Asian countries in the South China Sea. It has sent its coast guard to chase away fishing vessels from other countries, sometimes resulting in the sinking of these vessels.
MY OBSERVATION - there is a very high chance now that shooting will occur. I expect the China will target one of the smaller nations rather than face off against Japan, Korea or the US, as the likelihood of getting into a real serious incident is beyond their capabilities at the present.

Russia -
Violent protests have broken out in Moscow and other major cities (St Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, and Makhachkala to name a few). An estimated 40,000 plus are marching in Moscow with over 1000 arrests already. These protests are in support of Navalny, who is a popular opposition candidate to Putin and was just arrested/tried and prisoned in classics soviet fashion. Reports of Putin supporters assembling and marching to confront with fighting all over the place.

Iran -
In anticipation that biden will lift sanctions, it is being reported that it has double its oil production to be ready to increase exports. Iran is desperate for funds to further islamic terror across the region, funds that were dried up under Trump.
