Due to astounding mismanagement by YouTube which is alienating many of its creators via lack of promotion and/or censorship in which vague rules are selectively enforced to the detriment of the "You" in YouTube, many creators are now in the process of moving to Rumble where they don't have to be worried about a Big Brother attitude.
PING!
I’m moving, too. Enough is enough. Bezos can suck my swizzle stick. On second thought, no. He can’t.
The user interface of YouTube has become complex beyond belief and very hard to figure out. It gets worse and worse.
Rumble is gonna have to grow a lot before attention seeking content creators move from youtube im afraid. It is growing steadily but still has long way to go before cli k addicted content creators move there.
Would like however if folks on youtube put their videos on rumble also, that would real y grow rumble while the youtube content would continue to get their much coveted clicks
A lot of the gun channels on Youtube have moved most of their traffic to Patreon and maybe a few other places. Political oriented channels of the right leaning flavor are moving to Bitchute.
YT doesn’t care about making money. Leftists want their ‘purity’ and think the Right pollutes them. They’d rather make government take money from those who make it, and give it to those who won’t work for it (or fail at it, like YT soon will)...
you tube can’t seem to get content now
I use youtube lot. The other night a video was removed while I was watching it. Not in history, not in search. I’ve played with Rumble but in these times of fast moving news they need a date posted on every video.
Never heard of bitchute and I thought patreon was x-rated.
I need to get educated....
I’m using Rumble and am impressed with the user side of it. Easy to use and excellent graphics. The creators hit a home run with their tech stuff.
It’s hindrance is that as a startup, it doesn’t have yet a massive level of content on most anything you can think of.
Patreon also has a history of dropping conservative channels. Patreon btw is a Pay platform, and not a video platform.
“YT doesn’t care about making money.”
Not true about Google. They sell off and discontinue products and services all the time. YT has been under a LOT of pressure from Google to generate revenue and income.
“A lot of the gun channels on Youtube have moved most of their traffic to Patreon and maybe a few other places. Political oriented channels of the right leaning flavor are moving to Bitchute.”
And that’s a problem. Too fragmented.
There are a few technical issues that Rumble needs to fix but I am sure they will. Among them is live streaming which is not available now and also how to edit the text after the video has been uploaded.
Last time I stopped by, Rumble had little more than a collection of cat videos, and I’ve seen better.
Will continue to check in but it’s got a long way to go.
the last time I looked at the 10Q, YouTube was way up for Google/Alphabet. So there’s a real problem here. Their left wing approach/statist/censor approach not only allows them to taper the message, it also is making advertisers happier and making them more money
I’ve changed how I view. For documentaries, sports, hobbies, entertainment and livecasts, I still use YouTube. For any type of news or information I use Parler, Rumbl, Bitchute, .banned and, mostly, Fr.
“The user interface of YouTube has become complex beyond belief and very hard to figure out. It gets worse and worse.”
YouTube is also filling the non-political streaming channels with ads to the point a ten minute craft or cooking video will be interrupted 3-4 times by commercials. The non-censored, non-controversial content is becoming unwatchable due to the commercial interruptions.
Our Rumble channel has now surpassed our number of subscribers on YouTube, thanks to your support.
