Like many others who have been glued to political blogs and podcasts since election night, I have been constantly checking for any news that might "break the dam" and, effectively, "stop the steal" in it's tracks.
And like many others, it's been a 7 week long emotional rollercoaster, with some occasion highs, but an overall sense of frustration and anger.
After weeks of public hearings, rumors about gunfights between the CIA and Special Forces, speculation about the DNI report, Electoral college challenges, SCOTUS, etc, etc, I feel that it's time to take a step back, recalibrate, and try to see the forest for the trees a bit more clearly.
And here's what I've come away with..... It seems that there are two main points that the Trump team, and all his supporters have been trying to get across. These two points are interelated. However, without the proper messaging, I fear that these two points are actually cancelling each other out.
The first point is that there is massive evidence of voter fraud. I won't go over all the examples, as we are familiar with them already.
The second point is that in the contested States, there needs to be full transparency regarding recounts, forensic audits, signature matches.... whatever it takes to do a comprehensive analysis of what actually went down in these States on election night, and the following days when votes were still being counted.
And here's where I think these two points start to compete with each other in a nonproductive manner....We shouldn't need a "mountain of evidence" in order for Governors, Legislatures, or whoever else may have authority over these things, to call for full transparency in the contested States. Even the most cursory amount of evidence should automatically put into motion these kinds of comprehensive audits.
But at a certain point, it seems as though Trump's team inadvertently started giving legitimacy to the perception that these Governors and Legislatures have the right to play judge and jury in these matters. As if the proper protocol is for a candidate's legal team to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that massive fraud was committed, before they are under any obligation to provide the kind of transparency that would put the question to rest.
In other words, if we were allowed to look at all the ballots, the signatures, the machines, etc, then it wouldn't be necessary to have all these hearings with the likes of Colonel Waldron, Melissa Catrone, Dr. Shiva, etc.
I would implore President Trump to speak directly to the American people, and ask them this question...."How much evidence of voter fraud do we need to show, before Governors and Legislatures are obligated to provide full transparency? Does the evidence have to rise to the level of Mt. Everest? Well it shouldn't!"
A few days ago, Trump put out a video asking people to contact their Legislators. But people shouldn't be contacting their Legislators in order to convince them that there was a massive amount of fraud. Instead, Trump should be speaking to the American people in a manner that shames the Governors and Legislatures.
After outlining all the various methods of alleged fraud, Trump should simply state that "even if we only had a tiny fraction of this evidence, Governors and Legislatures should be calling for full transparency".
He should cite polls that show half the country thinks the election was stolen, and say "these polls, on their own, should be enough for Governors and Legislatures to do the right thing".
Finally, Trump should say, "the American people, in all 50 States, cannot allow January 20th to come and go, without demanding full transparent recounts and audits in the contested States, as that is the only thing that will prove who the real winner of the election is. We don't need Columbo, or Kojak, or Elliott Ness. We just need honest Governors and Legislatures to put these questions to rest in the proper manner".
I believe this is the tack Trump should be taking, at least in regards to messaging.
The Big Steal is bipartisan.

I think the only thing Trump has left in order to rectify the situation are the powers of the Constitution. Things have gone to the extreme and so does he to set it right.
It has become clear that it is not a question of evidence. All the evidence that is needed is there and is compelling. Everyone knows that the election was stolen. They do not care. No amount of evidence will move them. This includes the never-Trumper Republicans. They are relieved to get rid of Trump, even if was done fraudulently.
TPTB — AKA Deep State — will not allow Trump to be re-elected. Nothing we do or say will change that fact. He upset the apple cart and tried to destroy the graft and corruption that The Swamp depends on. It was a fluke when he won in 2016, and they’ll never let it happen again.
Just tell us where and how to sign up, President Trump.
No kidding. Should have been made starting a year ago and pushed really hard while the country was locked down and a captive audience.
I agree with you. Trump should use their own line against them (over and over) “ Democracy dies in darkness”. Call for full transparency. If there is nothing to see, we will see nothing. Those with nothing to hide, hide nothing.

Unfortunately the GOP are wimps and are doing nothing to CORRECT this fraud.
There was massive FRAUD with no accountability.
President Trump is being robbed of this fraudulent and criminal election result.
