The Big Steal is bipartisan.
We are not going to stop it with messaging or speeches.
There's your problem right there. If we had honest Governors and Legislatures we wouldn't have this travesty in the first place.
We’re way past talking at this point. SCOTUS has said as much
I would suggest the barn door has shut a long time ago....
Waaaay too late for this, sorry.
I think the only thing Trump has left in order to rectify the situation are the powers of the Constitution. Things have gone to the extreme and so does he to set it right.
It has become clear that it is not a question of evidence. All the evidence that is needed is there and is compelling. Everyone knows that the election was stolen. They do not care. No amount of evidence will move them. This includes the never-Trumper Republicans. They are relieved to get rid of Trump, even if was done fraudulently.
TPTB — AKA Deep State — will not allow Trump to be re-elected. Nothing we do or say will change that fact. He upset the apple cart and tried to destroy the graft and corruption that The Swamp depends on. It was a fluke when he won in 2016, and they’ll never let it happen again.

He needs to bring the military. The people are with him.
I like your thinking. Here are my comments.
“We shouldn’t need a “mountain of evidence” in order for Governors, Legislatures, or whoever else may have authority over these things, to call for full transparency in the contested States.”
I agree. Anyone interested in fairness should be horrified at any evidence of irregularities, and should do what they could to have it investigated. As Saveourcountry said, “If there is nothing to see, we will see nothing. Those with nothing to hide, hide nothing.”
“it seems as though Trump’s team inadvertently started giving legitimacy to the perception that these Governors and Legislatures have the right to play judge and jury in these matters.”
I have mixed feelings on this. If you have a valid argument, and your opponent uses invalid reasons to reject it, then you have some obligation to disprove those reasons. If you don’t, then people are going to assume that you have no answer. And by disproving those reasons, it forces - or should force - your opponent to prove you wrong. If they fail to do so then you can shout their failure from the rooftops. Which will strengthen your standpoint in the eyes of your supporters, and hopefully of your other opponents as well.
“Trump should be speaking to the American people in a manner that shames the Governors and Legislatures.”
I agree. Trump should be trumpeting the refusal of the authorities to investigate the allegations, investigate the evidence. He should taunt them, mock them.
“He should cite polls that show half the country thinks the election was stolen,”
I know that Biden and his supporters don’t care, but they should: there won’t be a unified country, he and they will have a smoother time if they have the whole country behind them instead of fighting them tooth and nail. They’ll get more done that way.
