Update: Tom seems a little better.
He could speak better than he could yesterday. They are going to test his oxygen tolerance this evening.
Obviously anything can still happen: so let us pray that Tom gets better and better during the night.
May he be healed. May he awaken tomorrow and breathe unaided the sweet air of God.

FATHER GOD,
We lift up Thomas to You in prayer. May HOLY SPIRIT flow through him and eradicate the Covid-19 virus. Strengthen Thomas’ lungs, bring his temperature down to normal, and remove the headaches that he may be experiencing.
Heal Thomas of Covid-19 just as you healed my twin brother. What You do for one, You will do for another.

I just saw this thread and see your good update. Prayers starting for your brother Tom, and strength for your family. Please let us know how he is doing.
I spoke to my nephew's husband over the weekend. His mother is in ICU with the virus, and is on a ventilator. He said they are keeping her on her stomach as they found that that position works better. Just passing that bit of info along to you.

Yes, interesting why that should be, isn’t it? They’ve certainly been getting Tom to lie on his stomach to improve his breathing.

Update:
Tom is holding onto his oxygen better than yesterday.
Obviously things can still change. However this is an encouraging sign.
+ God the Father of Mercy: we thank you each day for our very existence. We pray that Thomas will be healed: body and soul. Grant him life oh God. May he breathe your sweet air in perfect freedom. +

Update:
Tom is still on oxygen, but he continues to improve. He’s got the wherewithal to send satirical photos from his hospital bed. Which I guess is a good thing.
So - FRiends. Thank you so much for your prayers and advice. The recovery process is slow but it looks like the crisis is over.
