The War Against Donald Trump
The National Interest ^ | 12/19/2020 | Conrad Black

Posted on 12/20/2020 4:44:28 AM PST by Onthebrink

OE BIDEN is the apparent winner of the U.S. presidential election. There are evident substantial discrepancies and improbabilities in the vote-counting of several states, and though Biden probably wins, even legally, it will be on the basis of questionable laws passed earlier this year to facilitate postal voting for coronavirus-related reasons and to facilitate fraudulent voting. But Biden undoubtedly led in the popular vote, as Hillary Clinton had in 2016, so whatever happened did not entirely negate the choice of a plurality of Americans. Yet it is very unedifying that Rounds 1 and 2 of the Great Trump War have included extraordinary incidences of illegal activity. Namely, the probably criminal politicization of the intelligence services and FBI in 2016, including fraudulent FISA warrant applications from senior officials to justify espionage on the Trump campaign and transition team, and more recent conspicuous electoral skullduggery in 2020. Donald Trump won the first round of the Great Trump War, even if the crimes committed against him go unpunished. And he has gained the substantial ratification of his policies and widespread success in Congressional and state elections, including the legislatures that will determine Congressional redistricting, even if he is evicted from the White House. He has won seventy-four million votes and conducted a tremendous battle against the massed opposition of regular and social media, Big Money, Big Tech, Big Sport, and Hollywood.

“...and though Biden probably wins, even legally...”

How is it possible that someone who is supposed to be so much more intelligent that the rest of us write something that is so freaking stupid and wrong?

Conrad misses the point that Biden is at this point a mere figurehead, a placeholder until they slip him out the door for Harris.

“But Biden undoubtedly led in the popular vote, as Hillary Clinton had in 2016”

Based on what ? Votes from a couple of counties from two of the most corrupt states in the country ?

I like Conrad Black, but he has deep establishment roots.

This seems to be a fair amount of wishful thinking.

First, it assumes Biden will be president for enough time to have an impact.

That remains to be seen.

Revolutions are not generally made by 77 year old men. Let us hope a Biden administration follows Biden's lack of energy.

The possibility of a Biden administration doing enormous damage is large.

"Conrad misses the point that Biden is at this point a mere figurehead..."

But that would be the topic of a different essay. This one only deals with the reality in front of us.

The courts are not going to intervene, and 75 million Americans are not mounting an armed insurrection (not yet, anyway).

Biden will be sworn in, and doesn't matter right now if he serves for one year or one week. The die is cast.

The hunting down and punishment of Patriots will begin slowly, then slowly increase. I think Americans will put up with a lot more crap before things go terminal.

Of course, if the Left pushes nation-wide gun-grab early, then all bets are off - it goes full-blown quickly, and only God could save us then.

My exact thoughts. And the sad thing, as much as we love Rush, he’ll put him or McCarthy on and sing their praises as brilliant men - all the while they make the most idiotic claims.

all these guys..the Conrad Blacks...may have been advised to get their worldview “straight” with the incoming Biden administration if they want to be left alone

Some see the attempted steal as D-day against Trump. I see it as the Pearl Harbor attack.

i.e. it’s not the end. It’s just the beginning. And as some claim Admiral Yamamoto said, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

If Biden is sworn in, think of it as Wake Island. And Midway is a comin’.

Time will tell.

One by one, they need to be extricated from their comfort zones by overwhelmingly persuasive means. Give them their day(s) in court, and then we live and let die.

Along with a tree limb and a piece of rope all their own. They should have have about 4 feet of air between the soles of their feet and the ground. I would be glad to pull on the rope.

I like the style of the hangman in Man in the High Castle. Used his truck and a lamp post. He didn’t have to worry about rope burn.

“Conrad misses the point that Biden is at this point a mere figurehead, a placeholder until they slip him out the door for Harris.”

And here’s a cheery thought. If Biden manages to hold onto life and cognition for two years before Harris becomes President, she’ll likely have TEN YEARS to finish America.
