A classic case of misdirection. The real question is whether the military has a role in suppressing insurrection that is being perpetrated by coordinated violations of election laws when ordered to intervene by the Commander in Chief of the country’s armed forces. That it does have such a role to play is beyond dispute by anyone who knows what the hell they’re talking about!

Well then, I guess that means more chow mein in the chow halls.. hope that woks for you, Generalissimo.

I wonder if they all personally shave their chests or do their aides do it for them?

perhaps having eunuchs (or the next best thing) in charge of the military is worth a shot.. No .. wait, been there done that,, ol’ Roma.

You will do what you are told to do by your Commander in Chief, If you do not comply you will be replaced in disgrace.

It’s not their decision to make. They can however be easily fired.

Your roll it to faithfully follow the orders of those appointed over you in the spirit in which they are given. I swear we are in trouble if we have to go to a long war with these old Obama Generals running things we would not have a chance of winning. Plus have a front line manned by a bunch of girly men wont help either.

This is only limited martial law, so I don’t understand all the opposition.

There is no need to invoke Martial Law and President Trump has not made any comments that he is considering it.

He has mentioned the the Insurrection Act and two Executive Orders - 0ne on election interference and the other on human trafficking. He has also implied the two EO go hand in hand because many of the same players are involve in both.

Sounds reasonable to me...

It hasn't been proven in court (by design) who won the election...So let's say it's Jan. 21...Who does the military respond to, Trump or Biden??? Besides, the military is tasked to protecting our borders and International conflicts...

Elections are of the States and fall under the purview of the Governors of the States...The State Guards or Militias fall under the purview of the Governors of those States but also under the President if and when the President determines the government of the State has turned against the interests of the people...

I am sure Trump knows this as well as these Generals who refuse to get involved...And brilliantly, Trump put the Special Ops forces under the direct command of the President... So while Trump doesn't have the U.S. military to back him, he does have the National Guard forces of the States...

Right???

I just hope Trump makes a move pretty quick...We're into nail biting time now...

one also could interpret this development to mean that the military will not take no role against the people if there is a public uprising about the usurpation of the election by biden/harris... ideally these guys would be in a parade or grandstand celebrating on inauguration day, and unarmed...

First of all if he does anything it will be the insurrection act and the national guard.
