Army Leaders Join Gen. Milley and Release Statement Saying There Is “No Role” for US Army in Martial Law in Determining Elections

Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Army chief of staff Gen. James McConville released a statement Friday saying they will not participate in a martial law order following the stolen election.

This came after General Michael Flynn suggested President Trump should order the US military to help seize the Dominion voting machines used in this year’s fraudulent election for testing.

Newsmax reported:

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s Newsmax TV remarks on President Donald Trump weighing “martial law” and “military capabilities” amid election fraud has forced U.S. Army leaders to issue a statement Friday rejecting that consideration.

“There is no role for the U.S. military in determining the outcome of an American election,” Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Army chief of staff Gen. James McConville wrote in a joint statement Friday.

The statement echoed one by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley before the election.

No worries. We are getting bombarded by clickbait “dealers” with bombshells and breaking news- by inside sources, and loyal staff, and defense representatives, and experts, and officials, and military commanders, blah blah blah...

SHOW ME THE MONEY! Or, STFU!

That’s not necessarily the prudent thing to do; some people aren’t as well-read as others but have valid opinions.

The enemy is afraid of Trump’s next moves. And they either outright lie, have “sources close to the matter” ie the gerbils in their pockets, cherry pick or twist quotes, etc.

Sounds reasonable to me...

It hasn't been proven in court (by design) who won the election...So let's say it's Jan. 21...Who does the military respond to, Trump or Biden??? Besides, the military is tasked to protecting our borders and International conflicts...

Elections are of the States and fall under the purview of the Governors of the States...The State Guards or Militias fall under the purview of the Governors of those States but also under the President if and when the President determines the government of the State has turned against the interests of the people...

I am sure Trump knows this as well as these Generals who refuse to get involved...And brilliantly, Trump put the Special Ops forces under the direct command of the President... So while Trump doesn't have the U.S. military to back him, he does have the National Guard forces of the States...

Right???

I just hope Trump makes a move pretty quick...We're into nail biting time now...

Correct. These are the Generals Obama didn’t purge...

one also could interpret this development to mean that the military will not take no role against the people if there is a public uprising about the usurpation of the election by biden/harris... ideally these guys would be in a parade or grandstand celebrating on inauguration day, and unarmed...

They will obey the civilian leadership or resign.

Their insubordination should result in arrest.

Trump could be smoking out the recalcitrants by letting it leak that Flynn is urging martial law. Because now after they emerge Trump says he never discussed that with Flynn. Interesting.
