Only big box retailers that sell stuff made in China are allowed to stay open while small businesses are forced to close down.

Yeah, well, I’m checking labels these days and will not buy stuff made in China if at all possible.

If I absolutely have to have it and there’s no choice, then I do what I have to, but otherwise will pay more for made in USA stuff.

Not sure in CA but some Dem governor states have had periods where tattoo places as well as abortion ones remain fully open while Jews and Christians cannot congregate for prayers and rituals of their faiths. All based on “essential” and, I suppose “science.”

Gov. Whitmer in Michigan had the Michigan State Police guard the abortion joints to keep the dead baby travesty going on without interruption. And police were specifically charged by her with patrolling the streets to look for citizens congregating and going somewhere together, maskless. The nerve. Some police confided to news interviewers, anonymously, “we have better things to do and we aren’t really watching for them.”

My question is “Are Restaurants OPEN In San Diego”? It appears Strip Clubs are OPEN! Here in Nusomfornia some Cities have “Outdoor” dining and some cities don’t. It’s a mess.
Also try and find an open restaurant or fastfood drive through with an open restroom in Nusomfornia. Impossible! Can’t even wash your hands or do the dodo.

Most all of our white cotton blanks for tie dye are sewn overseas..mostly Honduras and sometimes Vietnam. While all the mills are pretty much closed here in the US, there is just one place that has US made blanks at three times to four time the cost, Customers are willing to pay a perceived value price.

So the raw product comes from elsewhere and dyed in our barn. What can we do? I would rather help the America’s than help out China. Heck, I even prefer India over China.

So over the years we have serverely limited our wholesale purchases from China. Nepal, India and the Americas for the most part.

I know a thing or two about the quality of Chinese made junk. When I had work done on the 64 they replaced the motor mounts with ones made in China. After less than 10kniles they snapped like toothpicks. A few years ago I had the tranny rebuilt and they replaced the motor and trans mounts with ones made in Thailand. So far they’re holding up.
