That disrespects my ancestors. I have my flag to represent them and also have flags from countries my ancestors came from. It’s a genealogy thing.

Slavery did not end in the North until the 13th Amendment was ratified in Dec of 1865, eight months after the war ended and Lincoln was dead. There were still slaves in the North till then.

So the last flag to fly over Slavery was the Stars and Stripes.

If the flag just looks like a “Confederate Flag,” but is just a background for a flag that says “F*CK CUOMO!” would that be okay?

Cuomo explicitly named the Confederate flag as his first example of a hate symbol, denouncing it as “abhorrent.”

Cuomo knows good and well that the Confederate flag wasn't "abhorrent" in NY when his father was governor.

At that time, Confederate flags could be seen on trucks all over NYC, and no one batted an eye at them.
