Gettysburg Address 2020

Twelve score and four years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a cold civil war, testing whether that Nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.  We are engaged on many battle-fields of that war — in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada.

Will these fields of battle become the graveyard and final resting place for the free Republic that millions of American men and women risked or gave their lives for?

In the haste of our everyday lives, we Americans tend to forget how sacred and hallowed the very ground we walk on truly is.  The brave men and women, living and dead, who struggled for Freedom, have consecrated it far above our poor power to add or detract from it with mere words.

The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget the birthright of Freedom these Patriots preserved for us through their Courage and Wisdom.

The task before us then, as living Americans, is to remain steadfast to the cause of Freedom for which so many Patriots gave the last full measure of devotion.

We here highly resolve that our Heroes shall not have died in vain — that this Nation, under God, shall have a new birth of Freedom — and that Government of the People, for the People, and lawfully elected by the People shall not perish from this earth.

American landscape painter Edward Moran created the 8-foot tall painting “Commerce of Nations Rendering Homage to Liberty” in 1875, more than a decade before the statue was constructed in New York Harbor.

He created the painting at the request of artist Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi whose statue was to be a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States. The painting was used to raise funds to complete the statue dedicated in 1886 that became a welcoming sight for millions of immigrants processed at nearby Ellis Island.

It’s time to start fighting back. I don’t want to live in a country that’s entirely RIGGED by politicians where MY VOTE doesn’t amount to piss hole in the snow!

Spent some time putting this updated Gettysburg Address together.  Hope it rings true.

What inspired me to work on it was the momentuous comments that Mo Brooks made on the Lou Dobbs show as transcribed by Breitbart.  What he said really struck a chord.

We have yet begun to Fight! Go President Trump!

The war was lost a long time ago.

It’s time for us to save what we can and move on. Some states aren’t too far gone yet if they can bring themselves to cut off the big blue parasite that’s slowly been poising them for the last half-century before it kills them.

It is easier than that.

If you want to see what the Biden administration will attempt to do to our country, just look at the people he plans to appoint to high office in his government.

Those people are the people who have proposed the craziest ideas of our life time...not just one or two bad ideas, but literally hundreds of schemes which would forever alter our lives.

You had better hope and pray that President Trump remains in office.

Thank you for the ping. My heart aches with foreboding for what these evil people are going to do if they get their claws on the levers of power.

Thanks, Shark. A somber, but I think our path to victory will require hard work, but far less personal sacrifice and bloodshed that in the wars America has fought in.

I look at Free Republic, and while it's a strong community with plenty of good commentary, we could do much more collectively to educate the public and make other solid intellectual contributions to our Nation's future.

The talent is tremendous, probably half the people in their retirement years. That talent that can be put to good use. I'm thinking about ideas.

Beautiful...

My heart hurts because I don't know what is going to happen, I fear things that I don't know...

I want President Trump to stay POTUS for 4 more years, and I have to ask myself, “Why are there so many pigs at the troff” and then I think, “You cannot take your 4 trillion dollar mansions, your 19 limos and drivers, your service staff, chef, with you” All you can take when you die is your soul and you will either meet evil or you will meet God with a smile on His face telling you ‘Good Job’...

I want President Trump to stay as Our President because I don't have fear and hurt because he might not be and that scares me...

Thanks, HL.

The Deep State and Dems are in fear.  They know Trump is going to drop the boom.  The criminals are exposing themselves as they try to cover up their tracks.

Also, a drama is being played out.  It takes time because we need to expose America's traitors and the public needs to see proof of fraud.  What Patriots know today is being hushed up by Fake News.  All will be revealed.

The entrance art to Rockefeller Center says "Wisdom & Knowledge shall be the Stability of thy Times."

I would add the word "Courage", courage to fight evil forces that would deny the gaining of true Knowledge and attaining Wisdom.

For 40 years, I’ve worked and taught teens at Church traditional values and have had them help with service projects in the homeless community. It ain’t easy fighting the world, I tell you that. Have seen great things from some so “Never give up, never surrender!” Agree, need a new plan though....

Thank you for your Church work and helping the homeless. It’s a wonderful contribution. This crisis reminds us that we can’t rely on one person, Donald Trump, to carry the Republic out of its corruption.

It needs an all-hands-on-deck approach. Take care.
