Eric Schmitt, the attorney general from Missouri, announced on Twitter late Tuesday that his state is “in the fight” after Texas announced its election challenge that would invalidate the 62 Electoral College votes from four battleground states and award President Trump with a second term.

“Election integrity is central to our republic,” Schmitt, a Republican, tweeted. “And I will defend it at every turn. As I have in other cases—I will help lead the effort in support of Texas’ #SCOTUS filing today. Missouri is in the fight.”

Schmitt’s tweet came shortly after Ken Paxton, the attorney general from Texas, explained his motivation behind the suit to Fox News’ ‘Hannity.’

He said that election management in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin—the states named in the suit—directly impacted voters in the his state. In particular, he pointed to changes that were made to expand mail-in voting amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Allen West told Steve Bannon there could be up to ten states joining Texas. If they're going to do it then today's the day to get on board.

They key here is that invalidation is sufficient. As long as Biden falls below 270, it goes to the state delegations in the House.

Correct but I hope the SCOTUS doesn’t punt without comment like they did with Pennsylvania yesterday.

Don’t look for help from Ohio and the never-Trumper DeWine. I wish that little troll DeWine would get covid.

Can’t be true. MSDNC said this was a “Publicity Stunt.”

“Correct but I hope the SCOTUS doesn’t punt without comment like they did with Pennsylvania yesterday.”

This is the endgame. No kraken. The SCOTUS is compromised and won’t take a stand.

It makes no sense to hear a case and then punt without comment. They would simply decline to hear it.

Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota, Missouri

It’ll be at least ten states, hopefully more. Go Trump!

They did NOT punt without comment on Pennsylvania yesterday:

The Texas AG was on Glenn Beck’s radio show a little while ago and he said that he didn’t know of any other states that have joined the Texas lawsuit.

?????

Keep telling yourself that.

Fake news?
First two paragraphs of the OP:

Eric Schmitt, the attorney general from Missouri, announced on Twitter late Tuesday that his state is “in the fight” after Texas announced its election challenge that would invalidate the 62 Electoral College votes from four battleground states and award President Trump with a second term.

“Election integrity is central to our republic,” Schmitt, a Republican, tweeted. “And I will defend it at every turn. As I have in other cases—I will help lead the effort in support of Texas’ #SCOTUS filing today. Missouri is in the fight.”

This is the crux of Civil War II.

Productive states cannot be forced to bail out failed states such as California, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington, etc.

Let history be clear that this isn't about COVID or whatever the Communist Democrats want to spin it as. This is about attempting to steal an election to force productive people in productive states to bail out failed states.

Joe, aren't you getting tired of all the purposeful misinformation and negatively being spewed here on FR?

My thought is the USSC won't need to take up the PA case because the constitutional issues being challenged there are largely addressed in the Texas case.

However, for anyone to say the PA case is being thrown out because it has no merit is misinformation at best, outright lie at worst.

I have been to the SD AG web and see nothing to indicate we as a State are party to the Texas suit. If so it would have been front page news, on the order of hugh and series. At the moment our AG is about as compromised as anyone I can think of and has more than enough on his plate.

I don’t understand it, either.

On Beck’s radio show this morning, Texas AG Ken Paxton said he would love other states to join the suit, but he wasn’t aware that any other states had joined.
