When we last spoke about Mac's Public House in Staten Island, the owners had declared themselves an "autonomous zone." A snarky way to protest Andrew Cuomo's tyrannical shutdown orders. Since then, one of the co-owners has been arrested. The protests have grown. And the "King of Staten Island," Pete Davidson, appeared on SNL to mock the people protesting. Pete got a scathing response (which we have below), but first, Davidson:
Three guesses where he can shove the "Pete Davidson vibrator."
People on Staten Island are less than amused. Like John Tobacco, a community activist who knew Davidson's father.
The King of Staten Island's dad was a proud fireman and a great friend of mine, and I saw Staten Islanders heavily come out and support him, his mom, his family, and everyone else in a time of need after 9/11, when I cried for his father.
So, when I hear stuff like this, it hits me emotionally. ... If you came out of your perch in your affluent neighborhood and came down here and told the liberal left this is a good thing because it's about our freedom and liberty, we probably wouldn't be standing here today.
People in this country are struggling. If they speak out, they're blasted with mockery by people who aren't at risk of losing anything. Pete Davidson doesn't have to worry about providing for his family. Remember, our government considers his job "essential." It's one thing to disagree with the people protesting. It's another to insult and mock them on the national airwaves. That is "punching down" in the truest sense. Davidson didn't act like a good-natured comedian. He's a smug, leftist douche.
This clown from Saturday Night Live, Pete Davidson, must have no intention of visiting Staten Island again. Saturday Night Live’s producers must be pleased that Pete Davidson pissed off Staten Island viewers to pander to Manhattanites.
“He’s a smug, leftist douche.”
...I like it! Sums them up nicely and will now be my new description of your everyday “smug, leftist, douche”!
When New Yorkers know the truth they call it out like no one else. They have It down- the art of getting te da point
Ping.
Don't be redundant. You can just say "leftist".
Nobody knows who Pete Davidson is and few watch SNL.
Why would anyone watch the show to see what Pete Davidson says?
“The 20th article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.”
That was not too difficult to write.
Well, I did not see the movie he was just in “the King of staten island’, so I don’t know whether it was just as snarky as his SNL wisecrack (which I didn’t see in its entirety, either) but obviously because of the movie he saw the uproar in S.I. as “a crisis he couldn’t let go to waste”. By now, though, he looks to be SNL’s appointed “bad boy”: he did the same smart-ass thing with Dan Crenshaw, now in Congress , IIRC. He apologized for that, and I expect he’ll find a way to half-ass apologize for this one too. It’s ultimately all about ratings.....and buzz. And it’s oh-so-tedious.
I dunno I think Pete is the kind of guy that wouldn’t mind another guy being in his stool, if you catch my drift.
Haven’t watched that leftist POS show in years...and know no one who does!!!
Why waste your time watching or cogitating over what those money driven attention freaks spew out of their mouths? Ditch ‘em.
Pete Davidson is the 7th funniest person currently on SNL. Which is not to say that 1-6 are funny, but apples to apples.
This guy is best known for having been dumped by singer Arianna Grande after getting matching tattoos. He then spent several months in a stupor feeling sorry for himself.
Not a fan.
Bkmk
Then she dated down. The guy’s a putz.
. Well it was the subject of this thread. Otherwise, they’d have gone quickly and permanently down the rabbit-hole of memory.
