Yesterday Governor Brian Kemp made the headlines as he called the Secretary of State’s office to conduct a signature audit of ballots after allegations of fraud in Georgia were presented at a Senate hearing.
During an appearance on Fox News on Thursday night, Governor Kemp said, “I called early on for a signature audit. Obviously, the Secretary of State, per the laws of the Constitution, would have to order that. He has not done that. I think it should be done. Especially after what we saw today. There needs to be transparency on that. Hopefully, in the next 24 hours, we’ll see a lot more.”
Today a terrible tragedy hit the Kemp family.
Harrison Deal died Friday at age of 20. The UGA junior died in a fiery car accident on Interstate-16, Pooler Police confirmed to Channel 2′s ABC affiliate WJCL in Savannah.
The boy was a family friend and Kemp’s daughter’s boyfriend.
Deal served as Loeffler’s Athens Regional Field Director. He is also a family friend of the Kemp family. Gov. Brian Kemp tweeted a statement and photo of his family with Deal.
“Today, we lost a member of our “Kemp Strong” family and words cannot express how much Harrison Deal’s life, love, and support meant to us. He was a person of deep faith, unmatched integrity, and incredible kindness. Harrison was the Kemp, son, and brother, we never had,” Kemp said in a statement.
“Our prayers are with the Deal Family – and countless others – as they mourn the tragic loss of Harrison. He brought people together and made everyone feel important and special. 2020 has been marked by adversity, tragedy, and pain. For the Kemp Family, weathering this storm will be the most difficult challenge yet.”
Rumors started to circulate online that witnesses near the Harrison Deal car crash reported hearing a “loud explosion.”
Some claimed to have heard multiple explosions that lasted until first responders arrived. Image below:

Of the 171k car fires, there were 345 fatalities.
Dying in a car accident by fire, is extremely rare. Unlikely an accident.

How would someone "allege" something like that? Either there is or there isn't, and it ain't difficult to figure out. AAND, even if there is "An Army airbase located just 15 miles" from there, what in the hell does that even begin to prove? Total non-sequitur. Or is one to presumably just jump to some wild-assed conclusion about it?
Yeah, putting “alleged” in a sentence regarding the location of something as huge as an army base is ignorant.

I never said that. I have a big problem, though, with jumping to a rash, unreasoned conclusion that "An Army airbase" had something to do with it, like someone surreptitiously did an air strike on the young man with a missile or something.
Honestly this looks more like the young journalist (I'm about to flunk a pop quiz on the particulars and locale here... for some reason I'm thinking left coast) whose car was ALLEGEDLY hacked and accelerated under some malefactor's control and ran into... what, a large oak tree, and then blew up and burned.
(See, that's an example of a correct use of the word "allegedly".)

Looks like there was a collision between a car and a semi with a flatbed.
As for “several explosions”, the tires and shocks going off would account for that.
What is weird is where it appears to have happened - off the side of the road.
‘Sounds like the kid got droned.
Therefore, multiple explosions.

They have the person who hit the car. How were the other occupants barely injured if the car “blew up multiple times”?
If Gov Kemp has reason for any elevated concern over the safety of his family or his safety, there is only one man in the world who can help him. If so, he should get word to him.
The other three occupants in Harrison’s car can tell the story of whether they were rammed or whatever. They’ve all been questioned and it will be in the police report. And they can speak on their own also.
