There is wickedness afoot in this world.
Yeah, I know, I know. Since Eve at the "apple," there's always been evil afoot in this cockeyed world. But now it's become very personal for all of us.
Before November 3rd, we Trump supporters suspected there would be hefty voter fraud but none of us could've anticipated the length, depth and extent of the Left's "wickedness in high places." They overdid it so thoroughly, it was a gift. A revelation. They cooked their own goose. Like you, I was glued to the election headlines until a fortnight ago, when the evil become not just national, but personal.
In the midst of the election drama, evil suddenly began to visit my husband and I. On the evening of 11/17 when I saw a shadow person under our pine tree for the first time in my life, I dismissed it as a trick of my eyes until our doxiepoo started low growling. On 11/20, my husband was jarred awake by the strong smell of death in a nightmare but we didn't know what it all meant. At 7:45 p.m. that evening, we received the call. My step-daughter, Caitlin Jane Thompson (21), had probably ODed. She was then struck by a vehicle in La Crosse, WI. By 9:20 p.m., she was gone.
Our hearts are with all of you who've lost a biological child or step-child. We understand your pain. My husband, Michael, says there's a hole in his heart that will never heal.
The last two weeks have been a fog of questions and grief. I couldn't follow the headlines, couldn't write a word. As I sought answers for Michael, Caitlin's father, other grieving parents reached out, telling me of four suicides of teens/young adults in that same area of Wisconsin within the last month.
We are being attacked by darkness in the bosom our families as well as in our nation as a whole.
On November 27th, Karen Cornett tweeted, "Sidney Powell is asking for prayer...She is surrounded by evil." Then we heard that one of Sidney Powell's key witness was so savagely beaten they were admitted to Intensive Care. While Trump's team was beset by evil, I received orders from Caitlin's "family" in Wisconsin to stop speaking to anyone who knew her. To stop seeking answers about her last days and hours on Earth, as any normal mother would want to do.
They say, when you're taking flak, you're right over the target.
Patriots, we are right over the target. We are at war with wickedness in high places and I'm back in the battle!
In times of grief, we turn even more to our Heavenly Father and I'm thrilled to see Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, General Flynn and even President Trump tweeting Scripture verses.
Something's changed in our nation. Can you feel it?
Bible verses used to be the stuff of memes. Cuddly blocks of comfort posted on Facebook timelines.
Now our most valiant and public freedom warriors are sharing them, unabashedly standing on the promises. This election has revealed that we are still a nation of Believers and I'm loving it to my bones!
Before Election Day, it felt like evil and good were evenly matched in a genteel battle. Something's changed there too. Wickedness ripped off its mask and showed us its true ugly face and we didn't like it much. Luckily, it'll never win. These are just its death throes.
Perhaps evil thought it won when Caitlin passed away. It didn't. It lost! After over a decade of persecution and suffering, she was rescued. She can no longer be hurt. She's safe in the arms of Jesus. "The term is over: the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning." (C. S. Lewis)
We may've had to "let our kindred go," but we have perfect confidence we'll see Caitlin again someday "on the far side banks of Jordan."
We're also going to win this battle over the Left's ridiculous election charade because we have won the election and we will win the war. I read ahead. Spoiler alert: God wins!
Before I leave you with the eloquence of Martin Luther's A Mighty Fortress is Our God (turn up your speakers!), I just wanted to say, oh! how I've missed you! Missed writing for you. Missed reading your comments and emails and all those great headlines you send me. Missed the camaraderie of rubbing shoulders with other patriots. I've never had a job before that I actually missed. Even in the midst of grief, you were often in my thoughts and it's so good to be writing for you again.

Never forget: A mighty fortress is our God!
A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing; our helper he, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing. For still our ancient foe does seek to work us woe; his craft and power are great, and armed with cruel hate, on earth is not his equal.
Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing, were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God's own choosing. You ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is he; Lord Sabaoth his name, from age to age the same; and he must win the battle.
And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God has willed his truth to triumph through us. The prince of darkness grim, we tremble not for him; his rage we can endure, for lo! his doom is sure; one little word shall fell him.
That Word above all earthly powers no thanks to them abideth; the Spirit and the gifts are ours through him who with us sideth. Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also; the body they may kill: God's truth abideth still; his kingdom is forever!

h/t St. Michael

The final mention is in Revelation, where St. Michael and his angels, do battle with the dragon.
Sorry this has nothing to do with earthly prosperity. The chapter is a warning not to fall to temptation and lose your salvation (Sorry once saved always saved, you need to read the whole, not cherry pick verses).
A fortnight? Really?
I saw a shadow person under our pine tree
Yeah, pretty sure that's racist right there.
my husband was jarred awake by the strong smell of death
You bloggers need hygiene, for reals.
I couldn't follow the headlines, couldn't write a word.
And there was a great rejoicing in Heaven, Amen.
I've never had a job before
There's a shocker.
it's so good to be writing for you again.
Don't trouble yourself.
p
But that's okay, I have crutches, a Biden Boot and a knee scooter, from when I broke my leg.
So sorry about your daughter and the other teen suicides/?’s.
We know of two with connections to our church.
This Covid Isolation bs may be dangerous in our homes as in nursing homes and hospital ICU’s.
Well at least give her credit that she posted the full excerpt. Unlike many here, I appreciate you are a gatekeeper of blogger spam but again she posted all her work.
But it was whiny as hell.
Negative points for whinage.
Or is it whinging?
Anyway, it’s not something anyone wants to read.
Her posts are always whiny as hell. Poor, poor, pitiful me.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Yes, the enemy is pulling out all the stops, but something occurred to me this evening.
Many people have been praying that God would remove those who work evil and unrighteousness from office and replace them with godly leaders or at least those who work for righteousness.
And he did. Big time.
We made gains in many states and in the House races.
Part of me is thinking, that since God so abundantly answered that prayer, that it’s giving me hope that Trump will be inaugurated.
Otherwise, if Harris/Biden get in, what’s the point of all the godly leaders and removing the evil ones. They will just get steamrolled without a godly president in the White House.
I am still praying for God to act in a big Red Sea kind of way, and composing in my head a letter of encouragement to send to the President.
Then don’t read it and let those of us who want to have some intelligent discussion without having to listen to your infantile ramblings, do so.
As the trolls on this thread ragging on you have shown.
It would be utterly surreal for Trump to concede an election he won! The mind reels and he’s only begun to fight. I nearly forgot to keep praying but now I’m trying to remember to send a prayer upwards. Do you ever join the prayer vigil with RSBN’s Father Frank Pavone? I’m not even Catholic but I’m absolutely loving it!
Ephesians 6:13
No, I didn’t know about it.
I am on the prayer thread ping list here on FR.
I only read enough to make some mockery, don't fret.
let those of us who want to have some intelligent discussion without having to listen to your infantile ramblings, do so.
Who's stopping you? Is there a conversation stopper in here?
Stopping conversation? Glooping glue onto your keyboard? Where is he?
Point him out! Let's hang that gloopy stopper!
LOL. Good point! They never let me down. ;)
I’m so sorry to hear of that happening in your circle as well, Grampa Dave. The sad thing is that Caitling was in a great place...new apartment, job she loved, friends. This was the last thing we expected at this particular time in her young life. :( Young people have so much to live for but they just can’t see it. :(
