Election software in Michigan's Antrim County that had incorrectly directed Democratic votes to presidential candidate Joe Biden was updated Friday, putting thousands of votes correctly into President Trump's totals.
The software had reportedly caused a significant number of votes to be allotted to Biden in a county that has for years been reliably red. In the presumed final count, Biden had originally led in the county by roughly 3,000 votes. Revised totals show that Trump won the county by around 2,500.
The error came after an election staffer failed to update the software to adjust for changes in a local ballot, state officials said following the incident.
Addressing the mishap, Michigan GOP Chairwoman Laura Cox said Friday during a press conference that "47 counties [in Michigan] use this same software in the same capacity."...

I think they loaded that ‘algorithm’ into a voting machine in a Red County. They corrected it pretty quickly as the article is actually from Nov 5. But the ones in the already blue counties probably stole just as many from Trump and should be redone. But they are BLUE so cheating is their Modus Operandi.

Trump won the county to 4,000 votes in 2016, by almost 2-1, and it was showing before than Biden had won the county by 3,000 votes.
How many times does this have to happen to acknowledge that this is not a “glitch” but a feature?

A legit software update should not cause vote totals to move between candidates anymore than an upgrade to Microsoft Word would be expected to alter the font you chose to use in a document.

More likely that as a tactic to deflect growing accusations of electronic fraud, they updated the software to correct a small number of flipped votes, a number small enough that it would not change the outcome. Their hope was that it would be enough of a bone tossed to the critics that it would make it harder for them to continue to claim fraud.
