Barack Obama blasted Hispanics who voted for Donald Trump, suggesting their pro-life views and opposition to gay marriage led them to turn a blind eye to the President’s racism.
In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God on The Breakfast Club, Obama unleashed what at least one observer defined as a racist rant about “Evangelical Hispanics” being homophobic.
“I deeply believe that people should be treated equally under the law regardless of sexual orientation,” he said in a discussion of the Georgia Senate races.
“But we all, you know, I mean, I think there are big chunks of our community where that’s still controversial,” Obama added before pointing a direct finger at Hispanics.
“People were surprised about a lot of Hispanic folks who voted for Trump,” he observed.
“But there are a lot of evangelical Hispanics who, you know — the fact that Trump says racist things about Mexicans or puts detainees, you know, undocumented workers in cages, they think that’s less important than the fact that you know he supports their views on, you know, gay marriage or abortion.”

“”regardless of sexual orientation,” he said in a discussion of the Georgia Senate races.””
Well, I’ll be....I had no idea “sexual orientation” is going to play a part in the US Senate race in GA. Perdue looks straight - Loeffler looks straight...won’t tell you what I think the other two resemble except rabid dems...
So he CAN’T speak without the teleprompter - just as we always thought...Even Caroline Kennedy or Hillary Clinton could speak better than this...For goodness sake, spit it out!
“”But we all, you know, I mean, I think there are big chunks””
Say what Barack? I think four “you know” in one sentence is a bit much!!
“”you know — the fact that Trump says racist things about Mexicans or puts detainees, you know, undocumented workers in cages, they think that’s less important than the fact that you know he supports their views on, you know, gay marriage or abortion.””
Isn’t Obama engaging in hate speech, by the definition the Left uses?
“You all are so homophobic and superstious that you missed out on Orange man’s racism!” < /sarc >
0bunghole just keeps on bungholing.
Plenty of Hispanics voted for you, homo Obama.
I may be Hispanic but to describe this character I need to go all Yid: What CHUTZPAH!!
I mean, it was HIM who put people in cages!
Anyhoo, I take it as a badge of honor to be vilified by this...er, person.
I may not know exactly what's meant by this homophobic business but, you know, I'll take it.
You forgot to post the rest, hit and run blog pimp.

Were Barack Obama’s Comments on ‘Evangelical Hispanics’ Bigoted
The Federalist publisher Ben Domenech absolutely unloaded on Obama for the comments demeaning Hispanics who voted for Trump.
“What a f***ing bigot this guy is,” he tweeted, sharing a clip of Obama’s appearance on the morning radio show.
What a fucking bigot this guy is. https://t.co/zL4E3EpZ69

“Trump was, unlike Obama, the first president elected who embraced gay marriage,” Domenech continued. “Obama’s bigoted revisionism about Hispanics in 2020 is utter bulls***, totally baseless.”
Domenech noted that there is scant evidence that opposition to gay marriage drove Hispanics to the polls to vote for President Trump.
“Maybe the problem had more to do with suing nuns, defunding police, and arguing socialism is totally fine,” he said.
But hey, keep it up with the “Hispanics hate gays and need to use LatinX” rhetoric, I’m sure that will work.

President Trump’s Message Resonated With Hispanics
Obama’s bitterness stems from the fact that, while he and his Democrat comrades spent four years portraying President Trump as a racist, minority groups – especially Hispanics – weren’t buying it.
“The Republican president gained six percentage points among black men, and five percentage points among Hispanic women,” the BBC reported.
In fact, one of the few groups he lost votes with were whites.
Hispanics, many of whom came from socialist-ravaged countries, gravitated to the anti-socialist presidential candidate, helping him carry the state of Florida. Numerous House seats flipped to the GOP as well thanks to Hispanic voters.
Maria Elvira Salazar’s upset victory over Donna Shalala is a prime example.

As for putting illegals in cages – who wants to let Obama know that he was the one who built those cages?
Thomas Homan, the executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Obama-Biden administration, says he was there when they were building cages to house illegal immigrants.
“I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under Secretary Jeh Johnson,” Homan explained at a conference hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies. “I was there when it was built.”
. @BarackObama sadly will not be fact-checked by the adoring media for this lie.
Obama ran for president saying he was against gay marriage. And he created the cages. https://t.co/VI73XUSLyT

Obama’s lies are to be expected – he ran on opposition to gay marriage before “evolving” on the topic, and he built the cages.
What’s surprising is that his comments regarding bitter religious Hispanics sound vaguely familiar. Like that time he railed against religious Americans who “cling” to their God and guns.
“They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,” Obama said on the campaign trail in 2008.
Even Hillary Clinton thought the statements were a bridge too far, describing Obama’s remarks as “demeaning.”
“His remarks are elitist and out of touch,” Clinton said at the time.
A lot of things are wrong with Barack Obama’s condescending remarks about conservative Hispanics.
Chief among them is that Donald Trump never ran opposed to gay marriage, as Obama has in the past. https://t.co/A3YVyqJnZB

In his new memoir, Obama indicates regret over the comments, saying he would have tweaked a few words.
Yet here he is once again, referring to religious Hispanics as willing to overlook racism because they are bitter pro-lifers or opposed to gay marriage.

Should I ever have the misfortune of meeting Obama, I would like my insult to have some impact.
