That quality that when observed, elicited the sensation of pleasure. Beautiful painting, music, poetry, person. In that regard, beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder
God made babies cute so we wouldn’t eat them or toss them off a cliff when they cried. God made women beautiful so we’d be willing to spend days in the sweltering heat hunting food for them.
