Horowitz: Three ways the COVID hospital data is being inflated
The Blaze ^ | November 19, 2020 | Daniel Horowitz

...To begin with, as a nation, we have decided to treat this virus in the hospital much more than any other virus. Congress has thrown billions of dollars at the hospitals, and they receive higher reimbursement rates for treating COVID-19 patients. However, many of the cases are not necessarily clinical level. Undoubtedly, in the worst cases, patients are critically ill, but the panic surrounding this virus creates a self-fulfilling prophecy of more people coming to the ER and being admitted. The financial incentives for hospitals certainly exacerbate this trend.

One particular change in policy that might be responsible for some of the inflation since October is the fact that they are now including those admitted to "observation" beds in the COVID hospitalization count. On Oct. 6, HHS updated its guidance for hospital data reporting. When reporting "total hospitalized adult suspected or confirmed positive COVID patients," they added a clause, not included in previous guidance, urging hospitals to "include those in observation beds."...

A friend of a relative of mine has a brother in a group home. He is about 45, I think, and autistic or has Down's.

Anyway, he went into the hospital with respiratory symptoms, tested positive for Covid, was put in ICU for 12 hours, which triggers some sort of statistic for ICU admissions, and was released from the hospital about 12 hours after that.

I heard some unscrupulous hospitals are taking some ICU’s offline so that the percentage of ICU usage goes up.

My question is these tactics of counting Covid cases, which are not really Covid cases, has been going on since the beginning of this PANICdemic back in February, yet NO ONE has made any of the hospitals accountable to give proof for any of these cases reported.$$$

I would not be surprised.

The thing is, there are a lot of people who work in hospitals, plus there are people who are married to people who work in hospitals, who are parents of people who work in hospitals, siblings to people....

These people should be talking.

This whole corona virus "pandemic" has been used for financial gain and political control and power. Very little of it has to do with the safety and health of the population.

Hospitals make more money if they code a medical problem as Covid-19. even thought that may not be the primary diagnosis.

The number of new "cases" and deaths are jacked up by manipulating the numbers.

Testing positive for the virus may mean a number of different things. The tests are notoriously prone to false positives so a positive result doesn't necessarily mean you have contracted the virus

But even if you have the virus, it doesn't mean you are sick or showing symptoms of the Covid-19. And even if you are showing symptoms, it doesn't mean your are going to die from the virus. There is a 99.8% survival rate with this corona virus.

And once the draconian responses to the public started, first for just 2 weeks to "flatten the curve" so as not to overwhelm the hospitals--which were never overwhelmed with cases), the race was on and still continues to control the American people and micromanage their daily lives to "save people from dying".

These controls come mainly from democRATic states with wannabe dictators and tyrants who want to practice their tyranny on the public.

Perhaps the most egregious use of the viral pandemic was the insistence of the blue states to use mail-in balloting for the general election because the virus was alleged to be so dangerous that it could infect thousands and thousands, if not millions, standing in line at polling stations to vote. The result was that it was used as cover for the largest attempted election fraud or coup in American history in which Biden has been declared the winner by the media.

I don’t know..who knows? All I’ve heard is from doctors..old school types who I implicitly trust and work in the covid environment. They tell me the disease is a bitch and you don’t want to get it. Furthermore, they are emphatic about the importance of masks. For what it is worth.

The number of flu cases have dropped to almost nothing.
