AOC May Have Just Given Kiss of Death to Schumer's Hopes of Becoming Senate Majority Leader
Red State.com ^ | November 13, 2020 | Sister Toldjah

As my RedState colleague Mike Miller reported this morning, the last ten days have not gone so well for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

The self-admitted socialist and her fellow extremist “Squad” members are being blamed for the shellacking House Democrats took on Election Day. The blame games have gotten so bad that AOC even hinted that she might walk away from politics sooner rather than later out of frustration .

“It’s the lack of support from your own party. It’s your own party thinking you’re the enemy,” were among the many reasons she gave as to why.

But though deflated, Ocasio-Cortez is still committed to getting Democrats elected so House Dems don’t have to continue doing icky things like negotiating with Senate Republicans on legislation. Earlier this week, she said as much to CNN’s Jake Tapper, pledging to do whatever she could to help the Senate campaigns of both Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock, the two Georgia Democrats looking to unseat GOP Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler on January 5th. Here’s what she said:

Tapper: I mean, theoretically, you can pass anything you want in the House, but it doesn’t matter if it goes to die in the Senate. How are you going to negotiate that? Are you going to work with more moderate Senate Republicans to try to pass something in the House that can get through the Senate?

Ocasio-Cortez: Well, I’m going to be spending my next couple of months doing everything that I can to extend help and offer support to the work of fantastic leaders that we just heard from like Stacey Abrams to make sure that we don’t have a Republican Senate majority, that we win these races in Georgia, that we secure a Democratic Senate majority, so that we don’t have to negotiate in that way.

Watch

AOC, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats will do everything in their power to take back the @GOP Senate Majority. My fellow Republicans, we must do everything we can to support @KLoeffler and @Perduesenate. #HoldTheLine pic.twitter.com/BDZoDLvGRr

— Bill Hagerty (@BillHagertyTN) November 13, 2020

The campaign ads from that interview literally wrote themselves:

Save our majority ➡️ https://t.co/TgtXviioHe #gapol #gasen pic.twitter.com/WE3956HdYS

— Kelly Loeffler (@KLoeffler) November 10, 2020

The more extremists on the far left like AOC bloviate about how eager they are to ram their radical agenda through the House and Senate without impediment, the harder it will make Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s dreams of becoming Majority Leader come true.

Schumer has done himself no favors on that front. Last Saturday, he took to the streets in New York during a Biden-Harris “victory” rally to proclaim total domination was within reach. “Now we take Georgia, then we change the world,” he declared to a cheering crowd that was not social distancing. In the very next sentence, which he uttered after putting his mask on, Schumer warned promised, “Now we take Georgia, then we change America!” The NRSC promptly cut a political ad off of it.

As many astute political observers including Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume have pointed out, even if it is determined that more Georgians voted for Joe Biden than President Trump, “it’s doubtful they wish to ‘change America.'”

The stakes in the two Georgia Senate runoff races could not be higher. With this week’s confirmed victories in Alaska and North Carolina, right now Republicans are ahead 50-48 in the battle for control of the Senate in 2021. If Loeffler and Perdue win, that makes it a 52-48 advantage. If they don’t, the Senate will be tied at 50-50, and in the event the Biden-Harris campaign wins the election, that would give Harris the tiebreaking Senate vote.

This is why we need hardcore leftists like AOC and Schumer to keep talking. Because the more they do, the better Republican chances are to hold the line

This grifter thought she could just waltz in and tell everybody what to do. Sorely mistaken.

Now go back to your bar tending job.

From my observations, people who think they ‘know it all’ usually get blindsided by reality in a very public and humiliating way... bout time for THIS jerk!

Yes, it is real...
It was taken at one of Pope Francis' early conferences...

Underestimate her at your peril. Its amazing how successful insanity, laziness, malfeasance and corruption can be in this country. The possibilities are endless for those bold enough to flaunt them. /sarc

Quite.
But is the photo here real?
Do you also have the photo of Biden with his hand on the State Trooper’s leg?

So she got a taste of what Trump has been dealing with for four years? Suck it up, snowflake. All that whining is probably not going to get her an ambassadorship. Biden is resurrecting swamp people for his admin.
