Dan Bongino Invests In Parler After They Announce #TWEXIT Campaign
Posted by Grace Saldana | Jun 17, 2020 | Money
Momentum is growing for Parler, an up-and-coming social media platform that refuses to subject its users to what one investor calls technofascism. The new social media outlet functions very similarly to Twitter, with one notable exception: it intends to provide a freedom-oriented platform that prides itself in not suppressing or censoring any users speech, regardless of political leanings. Since its founding in 2018, Parlers user base has catapulted to more than 1 million people.
On Tuesday, Fox News contributor Dan Bongino announced he is investing in Parler by purchasing an ownership stake in the platform. Bongino made the following statement on his personal website: Ive decided its time to fight back against the Tech Tyrants. Im beyond fed up with the censorship and bias of Twitter and Facebook and Im not going to stand back and watch as they target us. As a result, Ive taken an ownership stake in Parler, the hottest social media alternative in the market right now.
Bonginos decision to purchase a stake in the company followed a press release Parler issued on Monday, announcing a Declaration of Independence from Big Tech, as well as creating a Bill of Rights for users. The outlet stated they are using their platform to return to the original vision of the internet as part of a #TWEXIT campaign. According to Parler, The Declaration of Independence lays out the grievances with the censorship and data abuses of Big Tech Companies while the Bill of Rights states the free and permissionless nature the internet must be allowed to enjoy for it to thrive.

Yes, Snapchat is another one.
I think Discord is popular primarily with gamers. It has voice, video, and text capabilities. I think it is similar to Skype and Slack, but it was created with gamers in mind.
I’m amazed at the number of conservatives that haven’t long ago abandoned Fackplant, Twitter, etc. I never have used or even visited those sites.
