What really happened in Georgia when the water main reportedly broke causing a delay the election counting in the state?
On election night in Georgia President Trump was running away with the Presidential election, then suddenly it was reported that vote counting had stopped in Fulton County due to a water main break in Atlanta.
According to CBS WVLT8 ballots in Georgia would not be counted due to a water main break:
Nearly 40,000 absentee ballots will not be counted for the state of Georgia until at least Wednesday after a water main break, Fulton County officials said.
According to officials, a water main break at State Farm Arena caused a pipe to burst. The burst pipe was discovered around 6 a.m. Counting of the ballots began at 11 a.m. WVLT8 also released a statement from the Secretary of State related to the incident:
Tonight Fulton County will report results for approximately 86,000 absentee ballots, as well as Election Day and Early Voting results. These represent the vast majority of ballots cast within Fulton County.

Absentee ballots are supposed to be counted in time for the election so that each election judge has an accounting of it in their precinct. Just in case the person voting absentee comes in, they can’t vote a second time.

My girlfriends SIL is a plumber with the company who has the contract on that building. He confirms no work has been requested.
I called BS the moment it was reported.
In Florida all of the absentee ballots and mail in ballots were recorded first. Then the rest of the in person votes were counted. DeSantis ran a great State Election.

Generally, a person would get a provisional ballot that would be reserved and then crosschecked with absentee ballots.

What a mess that web site is. Apparently, there was no broken water main that would have affected the counting of ballots. More vote fraud perpetrated by democrats. The delays and stopping of counting ballots IS the smoking gun in the battleground states.

I worked as an election judge for 5 presidential elections and when I would go to get my kit a couple days before the election, it was my job to go thru the list of the early and absentee voters and stamp them on the voter roll as having voted early. On election night is when all the votes are tabulated.
What is happening in the states having problems is a combination of fraud and people taking advantage of other people not knowing how it is supposed to be done.
Provisional ballots are not supposed to be added to the vote at all. They are of questionable status and that bag is not opened unless the vote is legally challenged. At that time the provisionals are opened and decided upon.
It makes me go bat crap crazy when I hear the dems demanding that the provisionals be added to the vote.

So many, here, bash Hoft....but, as I mentioned, upthread...he’s the ONLY one doing ANY sort of investigative/tru journalism. We know that the LSM is not.
