1. This is ours and paid for in blood. No giving it away.

Remember, after 9/11 it took like 2 months just to start bombing and 9 months to a year build up to attack Iraq in 2003.
If it takes that long for the most powerful army in the world to take on small little countries, it would take China years.

I disagree. The problem is that out media has been gamed by our enemies, and as a result people are at each others throats without actually knowing why. We have the states for experimentation of different ways of doing things, but we have seen in history how well division works, which is to say, very badly indeed. Belfast Norther Ireland bad.
We need to drop the hair brained ideologies and pay attention to how policies impact the country. I don’t give a rats ass about how ideologically “pure” an idea, or what it’s pedigree is, the only relevant question is, does it work without causing more problems than it solves.

As long as it is just the cities that leave. One of my thoughts was expanding DC into northeast VA, moving part of the government to Philadelphia and incorporating it into DC, and selling LA to Mexico.

And I hate to say this, but the military of the United States government is NOT our friend or the friend of the people. They serve their masters: the Democrat Party. And no one else.
I can't think of any part of Canada that would want to join the train wreck that would result from two separate United States.
