I once signed with a pencil. Is that wrong?

Sharpies can prevent older machines from reading properly. The ballot is still easy to count manually. The trick is making sure the manual count happens, and the machine-rejected ballots are not tossed aside or "inadvertently discarded."

Rather than a cheat to completely invalidate GOP ballots, SharpieGate looks like a cheat to make Biden look further ahead than he actually was at an early point in the election - upholding the pre-planned MSM narrative.

How is using a Sharpie considered disqualifying? Ok, so it tends to “bleed thru” - surely there’s not more options printed on the other side, right? makes it quite clear which dot is filled.

Apparently, the same thing happened in Michigan.

Someone on FBN or Fox today said that the hand sanitizer mandated because of WuFlu was impacting reading of ballots.

Fla voter here. No sharpies. All ink pens 🖊 provided by staffers inside the voting area. Walk ballot to machine. Watch it scan. Confirmation that ballot was accepted . Tally of total votes shown DeSantis fired the problematic Dem election leaders in precincts where issues occurred in Governors election A leader with conviction not the Lindsay Graham model of “ stay tuned “ as Lou Dobbs has tagged him.

What I’m hearing on talk radio right now: Sharpies should not affect the ballot at many precincts because the paper used - like where I voted - was very heavy and thick. But there are supposed to be some places where voters were given ballots made of thin paper....something about sites which printed empty ballots on the spot so they wouldn’t need a ton of stock ballots.

Where I voted, we were given felt pens but I checked my ballot for any errors after I filled it out and there was no bleed-through on the thick paper. But I could see where some other locations using printing on the spot might have used thinner paper.

But the entire things is beyond outrage! I know Arizona loves mail in voting. I understand absentee ballots. I was in the military for 25 years. But I think we need to insist on in person voting with IDs checked by humans BEFORE the ballot is filled out and submitted, along with total transparency for BOTH sides at every election site!

If we all voted on Election Day, then 95% of the vote could be counted, error-free, in an hour. With total accountability for who submitted each vote.

PS: I will say that mail in votes in Arizona is generally pretty good, but let’s face it: When I voted in person, I needed to show official picture ID. With mail-in votes, it is all about signatures. MINE is a genuine signature, but I’ve notices a lot of folks, particularly younger ones, have a squiggle for a signature. I could forge my son’s signature with ease. And his wife’s.

Picture IDs at standard precincts, then vote and have both parties watch the ballot box.

It isn’t hard.

I saw pictures of patriots last night kneeling in front of the building counting the votes... kneeling..WTH! they should be storming the damn building and grabbing all the ballots and count them themselves! This is war the kneeling and praying crap shows weakness and that time has come and gone!! BIDEN MUST NOT BE DECLARED THE WINNER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!

“”The tabulation equipment can’t read red ink.””

I am not familiar with just HOW paper ballots are read. Certainly the dozens of people we see opening envelopes and stacking the ballots aren’t COUNTING the VOTES. HOW does that get done and if they are fed into a machine for reading (tabulating), why can’t we see it BEING DONE?

Why is ANYONE opening envelopes and stacking ballots allowed to have any marking device (pen or otherwise) in their hands?

Yes. Sharpiegate is real and election officials appear to be rushing to cover their tracks.

The printed guidelines for this election's mail in ballots in Maricopa specified use of a black ballpoint. Changes should have been included in those instructions...but were not.

Previously, sharpies have been prohibited in these AZ instructions.

Any intentional action by an election official that interferes with machine scoring and counting should be carefully examined. Why add to the election staff workload? Why create the suspicion of interference, tampering, or cheating?

Why would election workers hand out sharpies instead of ballpoints or insist voters use sharpies instead of ballpoints as voters are reporting.

Just think of it this way...government employees “willingly” increasing their workloads...
