New Jersey National Guard activated to work in civilian clothes at election sites

In a move that experts termed unusual and legal, members of the New Jersey National Guard worked in civilian clothes this week while officially activated to help civilian officials at election sites.

More than 370 of the state's National Guard soldiers and airmen were dispatched to work with election officials in 19 counties, New Jersey state military officials announced Tuesday.

"This state active-duty mission is being undertaken at the request of the County Boards of Elections," according to the New Jersey National Guard. And, while New Jersey's Guard members previously have pitched in at election sites, this marks their first such role in a general election - and deviates from the normal practise whereby National Guard members wear their military uniforms when on active status....

Hopefully, they were doing some sort of undercover work while under the cover of ordinary-looking clothes.

Since almost none of us in New Jersey were allowed to vote in person this election, I have to wonder what exactly these NG guys were doing.

I read your profile. I believe in all you do. To my regret I never served in the military but my admiration for our men and women in uniform is second to none. I hope the NG undertaking this mission is a good thing, although I confess I don’t understand the reason for it but...

What galls me is that Murphy has stated he won’t be counting ballots until the tenth of this month.

This state had called it’s support for Biden early on Election night.

How do you call an election before you’ve counted the votes?

Maybe the guard was to protect the fraud vote apparatus that obama (joes idol) was attributed to being a beneficiary of also according to joe . 08 and 12 were stolen elections and 16 was a failed attempt they underestimated Trump.The scamdemic and mail in voting was the fix and here we are.Bad enough getting fooled once but this s has to stop. I and many others are mad as hell, the fake news and crooked crooks facilitating and other complicit parties shall be expelled from this great country. They have once again underestimated Trump and us the USA.
