Joe Biden Takes Aim at Second Amendment Hours Before Election

Democratic candidate for president Joe Biden solidified his stance on the Second Amendment with a tweet vowing “common-sense reforms.”

Biden vowed that should he capture the White House, he would ban “assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.”

“It’s long past time we take action to end the scourge of gun violence in America,” he said in a Sunday afternoon tweet.

Biden added, “As president, I’ll ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, implement universal background checks, and enact other common-sense reforms to end our gun violence epidemic.”

Biden’s tweet didn’t sit well with conservatives on social media who saw the message as a clear agenda against the Second Amendment.

They're coming for your guns. Make no mistake about it.

They're coming for your guns. Make no mistake about it.

They're not even hiding it. Job Biden's own website:

https://joebiden.com/gunsafety/

Biden's "gun safety" plan has three tenants: * Classify all semi-automatic rifles, pistols, and shotguns, as well as magazines over 10 round capacity, as "assault weapons."

* Add "assault weapons" to the NFA, treating them the same as machine guns, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, destructive devices, and silencers.

* Allow existing "assault weapons" to be registered under the NFA, but prohibit any new "assault rifles" to be added to the registry. i.e., current semi-auto firearms will be allowed, but no new ones can be made or sold.

Oh, and one other point: They haven't said so, but don't be surprised if the $200 NFA tax (originally set in 1934 and never increased,) gets adjusted for inflation to $3,900 OR HIGHER.

So thankful we have a Supreme Court that’s more 2A-oriented now. Hopefully the court will start taking up more 2A cases and building a wall of precedence around the Second Amendment so the lower courts can start striking down illegal crap laws immediately.

They can try to unconstitutionally ban most guns, but compliance not so much. If they attempt mass compliance, that is probably one of the easiest ways to start the civil war they are wanting.

Biden's "gun safety" plan has three tenants:

I believe the correct term is "tenets."

Tenants are people who rent their living space from someone.

I missed the first Civil War by 90 Years.

Never thought I would live to see the second one.

They have to if they want to maintain power.

Otherwise, we’d shoot them for what they are trying to do.

"And how does the puke think he’s going to enforce that ban?"

Triple or more the BATF? Sure, with enough agents they could go from shop to shop and gun shows over time. Nothing they can do about the thousands of unregistered semi-autos. This is why we have fought tooth and nail to prevent registration. BTW, Hiden will need new laws passed if he gets Congress. He can't do it just by Executive Order. Each State has its own gun laws. Even if he did sign a Federal law against semi-autos, the injunctions and lawsuits would tie it up all the way to the USSC.

Biden wants prays hopes to lose. He can see the obvious, that he wouldn’t last six months before the commencement of the Harris-Pelosi administration.

These assholes wouldn’t know an assault rifle from a slingshot. Virtually no civilians own an “assault rifle.” The mag capacity argument is silly as well.

“Assault rifles” are used in a very small percentage of crimes. After they’ve banned scary-looking “assault rifles,” they will change the argument and say that hand-guns must also be banned because they are the ones most often used in crimes.
