It’s only Democrats saying stuff like this – Republican-run cities and counties are going to get their votes counted tonight. Period. The Republican-run counties in PA and Florida will get their results in in just hours after the polls close, but you will see Democrat-run areas like Philly and Palm Beach and Broward counties in Florida take days and perhaps weeks.
Why? Can’t Democrats do basic math? Is it really so hard? Why do Democrat officials insist on pretending they are all elementary school dropouts?
The one and only reason for putting up this pretense is so they can extend the time they have available to “find” boxes of ballots in trunks of cars, in broom closets, buried under trees, etc. This must be stopped.

I’ve never understood how this stealing of elections can go on.
There should be strict “chain of custody” laws regarding ballots. Election ballots should be handled like cash in a bank is handled and counted.
Each precinct should be issued the ballots for the number of voters. If there are 1000 voters in a precinct, there should be 1000 ballots sent out. If only 700 voters actually vote, the remaining 300 ballots should be returned and voided on election night. There shouldn’t be 300 ballots still floating around.
There should be counting of ballots reconciled against the number of voters who signed in to vote.
I’m sure there are some other safeguards which we should have, which we apparently don’t have now.
But that’s what I would do if I had the authority. I would compel election officials to handle the ballots as if they were money being handled in a bank.

But the task before us today is no less momentous. I know every person who reads this will vote. But do you Have a neighbor to whom you can offer a ride? Have you called your friends and relatives? Change how voting is done. Do it by counties in each state. The one who has the most counties wins the Electoral Vote for the state. This way if there is cheating in one county, it is only 1 point in the overall score.
There are 3100 counties in the US. In 2016, Trump won 2600 and Hillary won 500. (83%) Of the hundred largest counties, Hillary won 88, Trump 12.
So if you want to have 150% of the vote in Montgomery County, PA, you only get 1 vote. This is how you end cheating. As far as congressional seats, nothing you can really do.

If they lose the election, they won’t be able to.
Why wouldn’t they. Elections are controlled by the states. PA, NC, MI and WI all have Dem governors. So first they would have to agree to a plan that does not help them (very doubtful). Your idea is like asking the Rs to go along with popular voting. Neither side is going to give up any advantage.
I like the possibilities of your thinking. My wife brought that up to me a couple of months ago. Very interesting thought...and THANKS for the county info from last election. I knew that the ONLY state in the union where every county went red was Oklahoma.
